Apocalypse prediction could spark mass suicide, French agency warns

Paris (CNN) — The specter of a mass suicide tied to the widely predicted end of the world in December 2012 has prompted a warning from a government official in France, where people are already gathering at a place believers predict may provide the only escape from the apocalypse.

Georges Fenech, president of French government agency Miviludes, which observes sect movements and warns the public of potential risks, told CNN that he had alerted French public authorities, including the prime minister, to the issue.

“We fear that this message of fear could have serious consequences on fragile members of the French population,” he said.

The small southern mountain village of Bugarach is prophesized by some to be one of the few places, if not the only place, that will survive the devastation.

According to Miviludes, settlements in the surrounding area have been established by members of the American Ramtha School of Enlightenment. The head of this presumed sect, Judy Zebra Knight, claims be in contact with Ramtha, a Lemurean warrior who fought the residents of the mythical Atlantis 35,000 years ago.

She has delivered messages about the 2012 apocalypse in front of thousands of followers in the United States, according to Miviludes.

The coordinator for the Ramtha School of Enlightenment in France, Valerie Sautereau, says that group has no apocalyptic beliefs and no link with the village of Bugarach

Suicide resulting from apocalyptic beliefs has already occurred in France in recent years. In 2002 a suicide and several suicide attempts occurred in the town of Nantes within a small circle of people who believed the end of the world was imminent.

“We know from history and experience that apocalyptic discourse can lead to tragedy,” Fenech said. “This is why we have taken measures to notify police and other public authorities in order to monitor the situation.”

In the late 1990s there was a series of 74 suicides in the late 1990s in France, Switzerland and Canada by followers of the Order of the Solar Temple.

“Around 500 000 French people belong to cults. They affect all kinds of people from all kinds of social backgrounds, including children.” Fenech added.

There are growing concerns for the village of Bugarach, which also is known on Internet sites as an “alien garage” where extraterrestrial visitors supposedly wait beneath 4,000-foot Pic de Bugarach. Properties are being bought in surrounding isolated areas and construction of bunkers with underground tunnels and food supplies has also been noted, according to Miviludes, France’s Interministerial Mission of Vigilance Against Sectarianism.

“If we see thousands of people arriving it will not be safe,” Fenech said. “It’s a mountainous area with dangerous mountain roads which would need to be closed.

“I have visited the site. People are really worried. It’s a tiny village which is receiving thousands of visitors. They hold processions, pray, leave objects. It is essential that we anticipate dangers and take precautionary measures.”

He expressed concern for a “climate of fear facilitated by the Internet.”

The supposed Apocalypse 2012 has already taken on global significance, with around 2.5 million websites dedicated to the phenomenon. The theories are based on interpretations of the Mayan calendar, which it is said ends on December 21, 2012. Several other astrophysical events have been predicted for this time, including an equinox alignment of the planets.

Scientists dismiss the idea.

“There are no planetary alignments in the next few decades.” NASA says in a Q&A page on its website. “Earth will not cross the galactic plane in 2012, and even if these alignments were to occur, their effects on the Earth would be negligible. … Credible scientists worldwide know of no threat associated with 2012.”

The president of the French society Suicide Ecoute, Isabelle Chaumeil Gueguen, said the organization has so far received no calls “related to the apocalypse predicted for 2012.”

However, she added, “it’s certainly true that people who are mentally unstable can react strongly to dramatic announcements in the press. If it begins to be mentioned a lot in the media, especially on television, we can expect to have calls about it.

“People of a weak mental disposition are also much more likely to be influenced by cults, and messages spread by social networking sights can be equally dangerous.”

What is so interesting is that at the time when the prophets prophesied, people called the true prophets false and the false prophets true prophets.

According to the majority the truth was what the y wanted to hear that they were alright when there was actually injustce and hatred and lies in the land. Not any different from today’s scenario.

Yet this was not about the prophets but about God and his love for mankind.THe prophets died but the Word of God they delivered did not die and endures forever.That is why the prophecies of Jesus came to pass even though those who prophesied his coming were not present in the world at that time to receive him.

And this is why the End time prophetic scriptures are being fulfilled today and will be fully fulfilled because it is the Word of God.IT never fails .Whether they silence those who are declaring the End time warnings and those diligent Watchmen from America to Asia to Africa who are shouting to all to repent and prepare to endure to the end,they cannot silence the word of God .

On the Internet you find websites that speak about true End times prophecy of the Antichrist government,Israel and the Endtimes, the Apostasy in the church and tribulation for the saints will and have been slowly earmarked for banning and burning.If the DHS calls Christians who believe in End Times…DOMESTIC TERRORISTS/ THREATS TO NATIONAL SECURITY what else do we need to prove that writings about the endtimes or preaching about the return of Jesus is a national security threat.

Preaching about End times is also preaching about Jesus because it is the good news about his return after all the sorrow and suffering we will go through under the Antichrist rule.

THE JUDAS ISCARIOT SPIRIT,-THE SPIRIT OF THE WORLD IN THE CHURCH

The hatred we will see and have seen being launched against Christians has come from the world. However we need to know who or what is the world.
Jesus said that when the world hates believers , know that it hated him first.

Jesus uses the word world to show who will hate Christians. He was not talking about trees or buildings, he was talking about a people.

Of course the world in Greek generally means the order of things in the earthly sphere. The word world in English comes from the word orlud..man .

Let us look at who openly hated or was against him Jesus then we will know who the world is:

1. Pharisees and Scribes… Religious/Political Leaders

2. Herod…. Political Leader

3. Judas Iscariot

There are many who believed and many who did not believe therefore rejected God. However the above people led many to hate Jesus.

Thus we can deduce from the above that the WORLD is both RELIGIOUS AND SECULAR in nature.

The religious side represented by the Pharisees while the Secular by Herod.

So THERE EXISTS BOTH RELIGIOUS AND SECULAR EVIL;
RELIGIOUS AND SECULAR WICKEDNESS ;
RELIGIOUS AND SECULAR MURDERERS AND TERRORISTS.

They both work for the same goal and for the love of the world.
Just because one is religious does not mean that they are of God. Check the fruit.

Also remember,the Pharisees used to fast ,pray and give alms to the poor just as a true Christian is supposed to do.However for them they did it to get the praise of men hence it was a public show.

Do not be surprised when you hear of Churches that do good charitable works at the same time working together with the State to commit atrocities against their enemies .

Their enemies are the same and in the last days the enemies of the False Prophet Religious leadership will be the enemies of the Antichrist Political leadership because they are of the same spirit.

BETRAYAL IN THE FAMILY ; BETRAYAL OF BELIEVERS

What about Judas ? Judas represents a family member in the same family of Jesus who for worldly gain and praise of man, hands over Jesus to the world.

Remember that Jesus had to die for our sins, but those that killed him( the religious leaders and secular) knew that they were killing a criminal whom they utterly disliked.

A look at Judas and one gets a shock at how close he was to Jesus.

1. When Jesus sent them to preach he gave them authority over diseases and devils.

And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

4.Judas did not forsake Jesus when the teaching was hard for many others who left him in John 6

Yet in all this Jesus knew that one was a devil. This had to happen in accordance to the Holy Scriptures that declared that Jesus would be hated and betrayed.

John 6:70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

So just because one does miracles and heals others is still not a qualification of being right with God. One can still backslide .

Judas tasted the power of God, but still backslid. Hence we should watch that we do not lose our salvation for the love of money which is the love of this world. Judas lost it for a bag of 30 pieces of silver, in the name of treachery and pleasing the world.

As we said last time,many Christians are living in denial of the End time reality of persecution and death for the sake of the Lord Jesus.Yet in the past three years many Christians have either lost their property or have been arrested or killed because of their faith.

Whereas I do not support the doctrines of some of the groups the fact is many have been arrested for their faith.For example many Endtime SDA groups get into trouble basically because they tell their followers not to vote since the voting system is seen as Antichrist.

Hence the politicians of that area fear that such a stand would affect their political value hence would rather throw them in prison than give them room to infect their voters hence diminish theirvoting power.

Mark you they use the law of church registration to arrest these people and also the churches against these people claim that the Christians are disobeying Rom 13 , yet they have a right of freedom of association.I am not talking about suicide cults I am talking about any association. Injustice is injustice irrespective of the parties’ beliefs.

The Pastor Terry Jones case and the Hutaree group also raised concerns that Christians are nothing but intolerant or that they are just zombies in love with the end times. This will lead many Christians to be put in mental asylums as people who are waiting for Jesus or the world to end.

Well, Jesus warned us of this persecution so that we do not get offended when it happens or that we do not sin when it takes place.

There are some question when need to answer on this hatred

2.Christians testify that the works of this world are evil

3.They do not have the word of God in them

4.They reject and hate him Jesus therefore reject and hate God

5.They do not know God who sent Jesus.

6.They do the lusts of their father the devil, who is the father of lies

7.They do not have the love of God in them but the love of this world.

8.They do not hear the words of God.

If you read through the book of John ,KJV, these reasons are set out as a warning of what is to come upon Christians.The saem people who had the above characteristics, killed Jesus(though he had to die for the sins of the world), killed the disciples and the followers of the early church

HOW THEY KILL AND WILL KILL BELIEVERS

1. Cast them out of synagogues or religious buildings or fellowships

2. Bring them to courtrooms on the basis of their testimony of Jesus Christ.

3.Taking them to prisons, which today include hospitals, mental institutions apart from jails.

4.Scourging and beating them up

5.The coming Antichrist beheading

6.The coming starvation to death via refusal to join the beast system of economics

7.Mocking them and bring false accusations.

8. Death penalties

9.Exorcisms that lead to death..since in the past both Jesus and John were accused of having demons, today many Christians who love the word will be call those Christians who do not love the word, demons- Since these “false exorcists sweat for hours casting demons, when they fail to convince the believers to change their way of standing in the word,they will kill them.

These things some of them have been happening as we go on with our daily lives and indeed when the Antichrist rule is full blown will continue as the world cares about its own issues.

What true believers should know that this not going to end baldy for us in these days of great tribulation.

First of all many of us shall be killed for:

1. The Word of God…which is hated by the world

2.The testimony of Jesus ..Jesus who is hated by the world in the sense that people refuse to believe him and walk in his commandments

3. The Commandments of God….which the world hates Rev 12: 17

4.The faith of Jesus …which the world hates and is now embracing the respect of all faiths declaring that there are many ways to God.

5.Refusing to join the beast system of economics and religion and politics under Rev 13, a system that will be legalized and that those who reject it will be criminals worthy of death. ( taken form the book of Revelation )

In all these things let us not fear but look up and know that our redemption draws near.Endure tribulation to the end.

Pray for all saints worldwide who are undergoing persecution and tribulation for the sake of Jesus Christ and his word.

I wonder why Christians are so surprised or living in denial about what Jesus said concerning them and the last days.Jesus said that believers shall be HATED OF ALL MEN.

Daily the mixture of hatred towards Christians is increasing.The Terry Jones saga revealed the coming hatred of Christians.The scandals of Pedophilia in the Catholic church also have fueled hatred against Christians.

Benny Hinn and TBN cash ministries have also fueled hatred against Christians.

Yet within the Christian community there is hatred being fueled against brothers and sisters in Christ.

End time Ministries which have very similar doctrines and slight differences are on the brink of hateful division .

What we are seeing are different shades of hatred

HATRED AGAINST JESUS CHRIST NAME,- by other religions
HATRED AGAINST FUNDAMENTAL CHRISTIANS- by Lukewarm Christians
HATRED AGAINST THE BIBLE-
HATRED AGAINST THE JEWS

Thus Jesus did stress that division and hatred would be the norm in the last days and we all know that hatred brings sorrow.

President of Iran Ahmadinejad declared that Muslims do not hate America, or Christians or Jews.One may think he is right but wait a minute.

Islam does not call Jesus the son of God so how can it have love for Christians since Jesus himself said that those who reject him have rejected God.

What is happening is that most Christians and Muslims DO NOT READ THEIR BOOKS.

The only people that read these books in these religions are Radical Muslims and Radical Christians.

Hence the reason why Terrorism employed Islam because the Koran clearly calls death in holy war, martyrdom and the gateway to heaven.

Yet most Muslims who do not read the Koran do not know that.They do not know what sura 9 of the Koran says.But the Islamic terrorists know what it says or at least are taught from it.

AS for radical Christians they are those who read the scriptures but employ it in a fleshly manner and for fleshly gain whereas they are those radicals that read the scriptures for godly gain.

For example , the Catholic church called all the Protestants during the Reformation not only heretics but antichrists.They used the scriptures that talked about antichrists against the Protestants yet I wonder how Christlike is killing your opponent for not believing in what you believe.

Thus those Christians who trying to say well do not fuel the hatred against Christians are forgetting that this is what Jesus prophesied was coming.

JESUS EXAMPLE OF BEING HATED WHEN HE LOVED BY TELLING THE PEOPLE THE TRUTH ABOUT GOD.

Do you know that Jesus was hated more for what he said than what he did ?
The Pharisees wanted to stone him for telling them the truth that he is the son of God.

Jesus told them the truth and they killed him for telling them truth ,the epiotome of their hatred.

Jesus knew he had to die for the sins of the world and the word of God called for this special sacrificial death since without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins,

But his killers believed that they were killing a criminal because what he told them according to them was blasphemy.

Now when the disciples stared preaching the gospel , the Pharisees chose to arrest them because they envisaged that the listeners would accuse them of killing an innocent man that is being murderers.

Yet it is a fact that they falsely accused Jesus to death and the disciples had to preach that truth since it was part of the gospel.

So truth was both healing for the listeners but very bitter for the religious leaders hence the persecution of Christians.

The same hate against Jesus is with us today.

Even if you will never burn a Koran ,as long as you are a believer the world will still hate you.

This does not mean you should stop sharing with the world. Give them food when they are hungry , alms when they are poor and water when they are thirsty and pray for them.

However the truth of the matter is that the world will either hate you or accept you especially when you tell them the truth about God .

ANDREW STROM DENIED ENTRY TO USA: MEETS THE WRATH OF DEMETRIUS USA.

Did Andrew Strom touch the wrong button ??

Acts 19:24-27
For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen;
Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation, and said, Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth.
Moreover ye see and hear, that not alone at Ephesus, but almost throughout all Asia, this Paul hath persuaded and turned away much people, saying that they be no gods, which are made with hands:
So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth

Paul touched the wrong button when he preached Christ in Ephesus.Demetrius lost business because many were leaving idolatry for Christianity being preached by Paul.

Today it is the same,Demetrius people do not care about the message, they care about what the message does to their craft and profit.Hence preachers like Andrew who are not 5013 c denominations do not profit the powers that be and someone thinks that a red carpet will be accorded to such ?

It is interesting to read that Andrew Strom ,a repentance preacher, has been denied access to USA and it is not even 2012 (for all the 2012 end time-prophets ).
The legal theory behind such a move is hazy but the reality is Preaching will and is being declared a threat to National Security.

The fact that the US Government is gradually implementing the infamous DOD pamphlet which singles out Christians as threats to National Security.

One reason why the US is employing such moves is that as the November Elections appear to be volcanic due to the hot lava of economic crises and other divisive political issues, all religious leaders are being lumped on as Politically motivated preachers.

Yet Andrew Strom is no where near political motivation as far as I know.However Laws are generally applied to all and hence all Christian preachers especially are being seen to be anti-government or could be the ones fueling anti-government sentiment especially as elections come to the fore.

Yet I would like to add that Evangelical Right Wing Politics has in one part made such restrictions necessary according to the National Security apparatus.

However the DHS pamphlet is enough proof of a Government that is calling Religious Extremism Christian Extremism.

The plan of the rich elite of the world(economic, religious and political) is working.For them to create Christian Terrorism, they had to start with Islamic terrorism .

The Islamic Leadership condemned Islamic terrorism and so the terrorists can be arrested for their “false views” on Islam.

So that the false Christian,501 3c church Leadership will condemn Christians who are against false doctrines as Christian fanatics which is a sweet word for Cristian terrorists.

Yesterday it was Religious Extremism.Today it is Islamic Extremism .Tomorrow it will be Christian Extremism.

A look at the early church shows that despite their respect for government and being law abiding citizens, the same Government persecuted the Christians when State religion became
a legal obligation in the Roman empire.

At first the Roman empire was very pluralistic and accepted all religions.In fact during the days of Jesus, it was the Jewish Religious leaders that always worked to trap Jesus and his disciples so that they would be punished by the Roman Government.In the end they led the people to kill Stephen , James and persecute Christians.The Roman leaders were puppets to the Pharisee council when it came to dealing with the Pharisees enemies.

But Rome changed her face to consolidate power and thus introduced Religious Tyranny where Caesar was called “god” or was seen as a deity.Thus his word was law.This led to rebellions that led to the vanquishing of the Jewish nation in AD 70.

The next group to be suppressed were the Christians who called Jesus Christ their king and the only one worthy to be worshiped.The problem they faced is that it was a legal obligation to worship Caesar .Yet this is a sin and it is against the Christian faith because only Jesus deserves worship.They were called criminals worthy of death.

Today we are slowly seeing animosity against true Christians because they do not adhere to the one world religion .One world government is about one world economy and it is about one world religion

The fact is freedom and rights are being suprressed in the name of National security -the truth is National Security is the Personal Security of the State minus the citizens.

Andrew Strom’s hindrance should not be exaggerated neither should it be trivialized. In these last days the apostate Christian leadership is in cahoots with the Powers of this world especially when your message is a threat to their empires.

It is good to touch the wrong button for the right reasons.It is right to speak about a return to true Christianity even when there many prices to pay such as denial of entry, arrest ,false accusations.Rejoice when you face persecution for Preaching Jesus and his doctrine in these days.

Kenya police have arrested two men, one of them a pastor, and recovered bomb material after they intercepted a car they were travelling in.

Nairobi Provincial Police Officer Anthony Kibuchi said the two were stopped by police, acting on a tip off, on Kiambu road, Nairobi Saturday afternoon.

“Two people have been intercepted on Kiambu Road at the junction of getting into Runda. They were driving a Nissan Sunny car and in the car police officers found one kilogramme of ammonium nitrate, a safety fuse and a detonator … that’s a complete bomb,” he said.

“They have been arrested and are under interrogation.”

Puzzled

He said the police were puzzled by the incident since they could not explain why “a pastor had these explosives”.

The pastor belongs to a church in Githunguri.

The incident comes just a week after police shot dead a man and retrieved 300 detonators from him in Ongata Rongai, Nairobi.

The discovery comes barely two days after The Nation unearthed how easy it was to obtain commercial explosives in the Kenyan capital.

For Sh1,000, reporters from the newspaper bought enough material to make a bomb powerful enough to blow up a large room. The sale of such substances is supposed to be tightly controlled in law.

Bomb expert Charles Juma said commercial detonators were available for Sh5 in Tanzania, which has a large mining industry. The detonators are readily sold on the black market in Kenya and Uganda as well.

In the controlled shops in Nairobi, they cost Sh150.

Dead end

Mr Juma demonstrated how, using ammonium nitrate, a fertiliser available in the market in unlimited quantities, a person with some training can make a powerful bomb using the detonators and fuses illegally being sold in the country.

A month ago, a prayer meeting cum No rally in Nairobi’s Uhuru Park turned tragic after two explosions tore through the crowd killing 130 people and injuring many others.

Police have since said that investigations into the incident have reached a dead end.

Last Sunday, a series of powerful explosions went off in Kampala last Sunday as patrons were watching the World Cup Final, killing 76 people and injuring an equal number.

An unexploded suicide vest was also found, meaning that the bombers wanted to inflict even more damage. The Somali extremist group, Al Shabaab, has claimed responsibility.

ESTHER ARUNGA AND LESSONS FOR KENYAN CHRISTIANS.

ESTHER ARUNGA , KENYAN CHRISTIANS AND ANTICHRIST RULE

The Esther Arunga debacle is one of the most intriguing Nigerian wannabe dramas to hit Kenyan media since the inception of nation wide media.What we need to note is the key issues it reveals especially to Christians today in these last days .

By critically looking at what transpired one is left with many unanswered questions: Why Esther Arunga ? Why Joseph Hellon ? Why at a time when TV Land in Kenya is no longer a Nairobi affair ? Why Benny Hinn ? The list is endless.

Mine is not to answer all these questions but to give insight on what the Estehr Arunga debacle means to Christians especially in these last days.

A listen through Esther Arunga and her interview with Jeff Koinange reveals some key issues

1.Esther Arunga was a prototype ,rather made to be an example of the Kenyan Christian.
So those who viewed the interview may be made to believe that Born again Christians are nothing but conspiracy addicts who know too much jargon and believe in Freemasonry and want to take over the country for God.

This is a wrong perception but this is what the media wants to portray about Christianity…a faith for sickos or mentally disturbed. The bible tells us that the whole world lieth in wickedness,so Freemasonry cannot be ruled out as being a force against Jesus Christ and his church.

However the tool to deal with wickedness in Kenya’ s politics and society is NOT CHRISTIAN POLITICS OR CHRISTIANS TAKING THE NATION FOR CHRIST or destroying freemasonry….No, we are to wait for the kingdom of God and our King Jesus to come so that we can reign with him. He will not come however until the antichrist is revealed.

What Esther displayed is Dominionism or a false doctrine in the church today where Christians are to take the nations for Christ.

2.The Antichrist War Against the Saints in Kenya
First of all Esther’s church was called a cult despite claims of registration and ‘open fellowship’.What many should see is that this debacle is a warning to any Christian who seeks to have church in their homes without registration with the government.

While the non denominational or Evangelical church was crying or was ashamed by the incident,the Mainline denominations are celebrating because they will use it as launchpad to restore the youth that have left their churches in the droves .They will call churches which meet in homes are false and ocultic,”look at Easter Arunga”

Yet there’s is a case of the sheep laughing at itself at the riverside saying the inmgae in the water is ugly.Their false doctrines and false gospel (of the mainline denominations) also make them cultic.The only difference is that they are recognised by the Government and have populations .Jesus said in the last days which we are in presently MANY SHALL BE DECEIVED.

Just because your church has 10 million members does not mean it is the right church and neither does it mean that you are worshipping God in spirit and in truth. Go back to the word of God and examine yourself and examine your church .Perhaps you are worshiping a false Christ by following teachings of men for and you have never known it.

So the Esther Arunga battle has pit the denominations against the rising number of Bible fellowships which are not for the teachings and control of man.
IT is Government churches fighting Jesus Christ churches or Non Government churches .To set the record straight ,Hellon’s church is not among those true home fellowships which are coming up in the whole of Kenya.Benny Hinn teachings are heretical and these are some of the teachings Mr. Hellon holds.

Government churches are barking to the true bible fellowships….beware.
But true Christians should stand firm in Ephesians 6 knowing our warfare is not against flesh and blood.Pray for those who persecute you.
