This is a not so old article from yet it is vital for what we see happening today. We have been seeing how John Hagee, Rod Parsley and other TBN prophecy crews are accelerating the end time prophecy teachings.

This omission makes their messages very smooth but very false.

Here is a short summary of the above

IN God’s word it is clear that CHRISTIANS WILL BE

For the coming war between the West and Islam which will be led by main actors America v Iran read Daniel 8

True prophets speak right things not smooth things. The right thing is that we are to overcome tribulation in these last days until Jesus comes.Otherwise bible prophecy should be a priority in the lives of Christian but the gospel both in word and deed must go on.

As we see violence and war rising in the world with North Korea already threatening war(Kim has nothing to lose )
,as we see America trying hard for Israel to meet eye to eye with Palestinians we should not fear but build up our most holy faith in serious bible study of the prophetic and the kingdom of God and the suffering of the saints. These are dark days but let us preserve our souls in faith and in the word of God.

Enduring to the end

Current Global Events and The Trickery of Bible Prophecy Czars

Kato Mivule | March 1st 2010

Recent convulsions of nature in Haiti, and Chile combined with the Global Economic recession have led a number of Christians to increase interest in Bible Prophecy, which is a very positive thing for the Church.

However, at the same time a number of dubious “Bible Prophecy” teachers are using the occasion to sell and cement questionable Bible Prophecy Teachings by capitalizing on the paranoia faced by many undiscerning Christians.

A false sense of urgency combined with fear of the unknown are mixed with Scriptures on Bible Prophecy, producing trepidation to the Christian Listeners and forcing some to act out of irrationality while casting aside God given discernment, logic, and common sense.

Some popular Christian Radio and TV hosts have taken the initiative to proclaim why certain catastrophic events happen in certain parts of the world. Of recent was Par Robertson who claimed that the Haiti earthquake was a result of the folks in Haiti reaping from their pact with Satan.

Now, Pat Robertson might have to explain the sins committed by the folks in Chile, the 50 or so folks who died in France due to fierce storms, and the great sins that the poor people in Greece did get awarded an economic melt down. After a while such analysis and talk from the likes of Pat Robertson does not make sense.

Yet at the same time this does not water down and trivialize the fact that The Lord will judge the nations and that Bible Prophecies will come to pass. This does not trivialize the fact that the Matthew 24 signs about the end spoken of by The Lord have been taking place, increasingly, ever since the first century.

Yet this is not the end of the world as some so-called Bible Prophecy Czars would like us to believe. Jesus Christ was very clear in mentioning to his disciples and cautioning them against irrational fear when they see some of these signs. It is worth repeating these scriptures over and over again so that Christians may place all things in proper perspective and context, rather than interpret Bible Prophecies out of irrationality and paranoia…

Matthew 24:6-8 KJV And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (7) For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. (8) All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Using Fear and Bible Prophecy for Political Gain…
As I have continued to study scriptures on Bible Prophecy and works by other Christians on the same subject, I have come to observe a few things that some folks cleverly employ is their discourse. Among such tricks is the use of current events to strike fear among their listeners and readers so as to be seen as the “True Prophet” of The Lord.

This in turn always results in sell of more books, materials, and or to cement one’s philosophical Ideas and Doctrines as legitimate based on an earthquake that has happened in some part of the world, for instance.

The other trick, which is an extension of the use of current events, is to manipulate christian listeners into believing that Political Figures they disagree with are Biblical Figures of the Apocalypse and Hell. This trickery is largely employed by some real Political Activists who use present negative economic circumstances to proclaim that the end of a particular nation has come.

Take for instance, in the early 2009, some so-called Bible Prophecy Teachers were busy sending out emails that the end of the USA had come. I recall one lady minister who sent emails throughout the year 2009 attacking the Secular President of the USA and using the most vile derogatory language one could pen down. Yet behind the mask was that such Bible Prophets were mere Political Activists who hid behind Bible Prophecy to sell to the undiscerning western Christian.

It is reason why some of those who were engaged in such Bible Prophecy Paranoia found refuge in the early stages of the Tea Party Movement and engaged in spewing hate against those they disagreed with, a sellout to the John Birch Society, Glen Beck, among other Far Right Extremists who serve as priests in such movement.

I remember getting emails about how the end of the USA had come just after the 2008 Presidential election all the way to the end of 2009. I remember a discussion I had with a sister in The Lord as I explained to her that what we are seeing is NOT the end of the USA but rather an integration of the Global economy but she did not like my argument because according to her the end of the USA would be better since there was a liberal President leading the nation who happened to be black and not evangelical.

Interestingly, whenever a President in the USA comes to power not in favor with the Religious Extremist Right, they proclaim the end of the USA… Such is a worldly use of Bible Prophecy for Political Gain by exploiting the fear and paranoia among Christians.

Back-Dating To Forecast Events…
Another notorious trick employed by so-called Bible Prophecy Czars is the manipulation of Historical Dates so as to predict or forecast future events. This trickery has failed over and over again but some clever Bible Prophecy Teachers employ it so as to cement their own doctrines.

The most obvious one is when a Bible Prophecy Teacher proclaims a future date, say for example the guy who proclaimed that Jesus Christ would return in 1988. Yet even with the ease of spotting such false claims, behind the scenes is a larger problem; the same guy based his predictions and forecasts by studying so-called historical dates and moon appearances to predict the future.

One Bible Prophecy Teacher blatantly proclaimed that “Bible Prophecy and History Go Hand in hand”. Yet such outrageous claims do not take into account that some Bible Prophecies have not been fulfilled. Secondly the history charts and time lines that these bible prophecy czars rely on are based on charts and estimates provided by secular Historians who totally disagree with the historical facts as presented by the Bible.

Take for instance the general disagreement among secular Historians between Dr. Luke’s Historical Account of Jesus Christ and the Early Church, and the Historical Account of Josephus. So, using Moon appearances and back dating so as to forecast Bible Prophecy events only adds to the exuberance of Paranoia and Trepidations among Christians in these trying days.

The use and manipulation of such historical date estimates is to strike fear and create a sense of urgency so that the undiscerning Christians can quickly react to the proclamations and doctrines of the Bible Prophecy Czar. Usually this culminates in the sell of Bible Prophecy Material and cementing of doctrine in the minds of the followers – it is a mind control game that employs bible prophecy to subtly manipulate followers. Yet no exact specific dates are given concerning many events in the Bible, no single scripture for instance says Jesus Christ was Born in September 3 BC…etc…

Yet many are deceived by the such back dating in order to forecast. I have read and researched works by Sir Issac Newton, Robert Anderson among others and yet all they do is heavily depend of Secular Historians for Date estimates and moon appearances and as such I regard their wonderful works as estimates and NOT Gospel Truth. What spurious Bible Prophecy Czars have done is to equate such works to New Testament Scripture, as such infusing assertions that are not true but simply disagreeable estimates of mere men.

Yet Jesus Christ clearly warns His followers against such irrational fear. The Apostles in the New Testament call for Patience as we await the Second Coming of The Lord. We are called to Watch, yet with Discernment and Patience in Jesus Christ.

James 5:7-8 KJV Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. (8) Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

Revelation 1:9 KJV I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Brethren, the world is not going to end this year. Instead what we are going to see is a Global Integration of the Global Economy and more of a Global Village economically, Socially, politically, and Technologically.

The signs of the end are just the beginning of sorrows but not the end…most of what we are experiencing in economic terms has to do with Global Economic Integration that is certainly making some feel cheated especially in the West while “spreading the wealth” to poorer nations. This in no way trivializes the greed and excess that led to this economic downturn.

What Christians should concentrate on is the preaching of the Gospel and living a Life that reflects the Glory of Christ, helping the poor, orphans, widows and those who are in pain rather than seeking Political, economical, and social empires.
