“ But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,…Matt 24:36-39

Jesus said that the last days will be as the days of Noah when people went about doing their own things as Noah was building the ark in preparation of the ark. When one finds out what was happening in those days of Noah one is convinced that we are living in the last days. WE are experiencing days of VIOLENCE AND WICKEDNESS.

We are living in an angry world. With people fighting for the man made scarce resources, people are almost taking up beastly mannerisms in the things they do.

People are angry with governments failure to deliver , angry with the elite ,the stress of life and general disorder that is increasing in the day to day endeavors of a world going mad.

Nations are getting angry at each other with Israel being at the center of worldwide condemnation. In Kenya religion is angry at religion fighting for political power between State Christianity and Islam.

A look at the Greek Crisis and the Louisiana residents we see a lot of anger some of which is justified. However the bible expressly warns us that anger can lead us to sin and that we should be able to control it.

Yet God is also angry and he has every right because he created his world and gave his son to die for the world ‘s sins yet they reject him .Angry at the world’s continued, increasing, proud defiance against him. Not only the secular world but the Christian circles where people are holding and teaching various strange doctrines that God hates.

All these distress of nations as Jesus calls it is a sober call to remind ourselves what Jesus said about these days. He said they will be as the days of Noah.

The days of Noah were days of violence and wickedness. The bible clearly says that the earth was filled with violence. God was grieved.
And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. Gen 6:6

Reading such a portion of scripture one cannot help but really be humbled by the extent of wickedness that filled the earth. Injustice was the order of the day and God had to judge it ,swiftly. The earth was destroyed by the floods.

After the floods the Lord still reiterated his hate for violence and bloodshed when he told Noah that whosoever shed blood of another shall have his blood shed.

And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man. Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man. Gen 9 : 5-6

God hates bloodshed . A quick run to the last book of the Bible , Revelation, we see this hatred for bloodshed established again.

One of the end time actions of God is going to be to avenge the blood of his saints. Many Christians are going to die in the last days fracas that will hit the world justifying the statement of Jesus that it will be as the days of Noah.

And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. Rev 6: 9-11

And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. Rev 16:4-6

For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand. Rev 19 : 2
A look at the first seals in Rev 6 reveals that three of the seals contain bloodshed with the fifth seal specifically on Christians.
The kingdom of God suffereth violence and the violent take it by force ??
Sadly many of us Christians used to believe that this verse meant that Christians are to be violent .What we did not know that this was referring to the rulers of Jesus’ day who were against his message of the kingdom of God and that it will have to suffer opposition.

Those who hold that Christians are to be violent are the Dominionist who will think that bloodshed of others in the name of God is righteous.

Yet the fruits of violence are prevalent all over the world. The seeds may have been planted recently or have existed for years but the harvest is nigh.
Do not fear but abide In Jesus Christ for the New world order chaos is on course.
When I see how the media is working up people in Kenya on the referendum elections ; when I see Europe’s debt crisis being a global pandemic and when we see the political tensions in the Middle East and the Arab world one is amazed at how these architects of Antichrist government are truly using a well planned script.

The fact is Christians should be prepared to be a true witness to the world in the upcoming events as they continue in love sharing the little they have with one another and others who are in need. It is at such times that one holds on to the word suddenly. These world changing events are going to take place both gradually and suddenly. It is the latter word that people seem to forget.
Stay in the Word.
