Again we take a review of this week that is often called “holy week” a lot of “unholy things ” that we would like to higlight per country .
East Africa is famously known for the East African Revival that took place in the Christian circles where the people rose up against hypocritical Christianity and chose to return to the bible.
However the children of those revival founders and activists are now not marching for Christianity or spiritual revival but against high prices of food and fuel.
Of course , the Arab Muslim world is the very spark that has led the world to teh streets , not forgetting Greece thta was a forerunner for teh Arab world; now Afric ais on fire and it is going to get UGLY.
It is dangours for people to proetst and there be no repsonse to the proetst in any psotive way.
For example in Ugand a, people have proetsted for thrree weeks but have th eprices been reduced ? NO
Kenyans have cried about prices for years but have they decreased ? NO
So the more the ignoring of the reality or brushing up with valid reason such as International crisis , the more the protests and the more the protests the more the threat of violence .Ask Libya. Now ask Nigeria.
People are not going to care whether it is America who has caused their economic hardship ,they will blame the local political elite
When we see no positive response to the protests , just tighten your belt the more ..these are days of sorrow but please put your trust in the Lord Jesus.
Went on the streets to protest against high prices of fuel and food…remember the salaries are not increasing and nothing has been done to reduce the prices.
The opposition leaders are being arrested every day the walk to work protests are instigated .This actually emboldens the opposition and weakens the State. The Museveni Regime is on its death bed.
