MARIO MONTI IT IS..LETTING THE ECONOMISTS FIX THE ECONOMY

THE RISE OF TECHNOCRATIC GOVERNMENTS WORLDWIDE

People are tired of politicians who only know how to talk ..they want politicians who can act and fix things. Italy , the same country that gave the world Governance and the Alphabet (of course modifying pre -existing systems) could be setting precedent in the world for systems that are controlled by  technocrats and not politicians.

This is not new as America has been on the forefront of having Secretaries run the show and technocrats dealing in the their area of expertise .Yet it seems to have hit the wall as America is wallowing in Economic Mud.

Yet what this spells for Europe is a time to let those who have the knowledge fix the things and this i s what Mario Monti has done by appointing himself Minister of Economy and Finance.

Such a move has revealed that it is Finance that cements a nation and when the Economy is sick everything is sick.Money rules the world.

But if money rules the world must it rule men ?

For since money is now ruling men , men have became desposndent now that money is failing worldwide.

Italy is proving that things are getting too hot and now it is time for the experts to take charge and not the army or politicians.

(Reuters) – Former European Commissioner Mario Monti formed a new technocratic government in Italy on Wednesday to face a major debt crisis threatening the entire euro zone.

Officials said the new government, announced by Monti at the presidential palace in Rome, would be sworn in at 5 p.m. (4 p.m. British time).

The government has the urgent task of tackling a crisis that has pushed Italy’s borrowing costs to untenable levels and brought it to the brink of economic disaster.

Speaking after presenting his cabinet, Monti said he hoped international markets would be placated by the installation of the new government and that it would need to convince the Italian public and parliament about what are expected to be painful austerity policies.

Monti, a respected economics professor, said he would himself take the crucial economy portfolio in his new government.

Corrado Passera, the CEO of Italy’s biggest retail bank Intesa Sanpaolo, was given the infrastructure and industry portfolio.

But after disputes among the parties which complicated Monti’s task, the new government contained no politicians as he was reported to have wanted. Some analysts say lack of politicians in the administration could make it more vulnerable to ambushes in parliament as it pushes through unpopular measures.

But Monti said the lack of politicians would strengthen rather than weaken the government by enabling it to avoid political disputes and push ahead with vital reforms.

“The absence of political personalities in the government will help rather than hinder a solid base of support for the government in parliament and in the political parties because it will remove one ground for disagreement.”

He said he would present his austerity programme, to the Senate on Thursday. This is expected to be followed by a confidence vote in both houses of parliament.

The reforms were demanded by European leaders to stem a crisis at the centre of the euro zone‘s problems.

The new administration was formed in less than three days in a scramble to face the crisis piloted by President Giorgio Napolitano after market confidence in Italy collapsed.

OVERWHELMING SUPPORT

It is expected to have an overwhelming majority in both houses, based on wide external support promised by most of the political parties except the devolutionist Northern League, a partner in Berlusconi’s outgoing government.

The process is being closely watched by markets still nervous about Italy’s ability to break out of a crisis centred on its huge public debt and painfully slow growth, despite the resignation on Saturday of Silvio Berlusconi, whose failure to pass crucial reforms precipitated a collapse of confidence.

Underlining how much is at stake, yields on Italy’s 10-year bonds went through 7 percent again on Wednesday, the level at which Greece and Ireland were forced into bailouts.

Euro zone defences are not big enough to fund a similar operation for Italy, the zone’s third largest economy, which is why it is crucial to the outcome of the current debt crisis.

The government announcement had no immediate effect on yields.

Crucial to Monti’s success was the backing of the PDL party of outgoing prime minister Berlusconi, who was forced to step down on Saturday by the fast-worsening crisis.

Napolitano, who has engineered the extremely rapid government transition in response to the collapse of confidence in Italy, nominated Monti for the premiership on Sunday night.

The president has called for an extraordinary national effort to win back the confidence of markets, noting that Italy has to refinance about 200 billion euros (171 billion pounds) of bonds by the end of April.

Monti has said his government should last until the next scheduled elections in 2013, despite widespread expectation that politicians intend to give him only enough time to implement reforms before precipitating early polls.

“I hope that this government of technocrats succeeds in addressing all the requests made by the European Central Bank in its letter,” outgoing Industry Minister Paolo Romani, from Berlusconi’s PDL party, told the Corriere della Sera newspaper.

“But let it be clear that as soon as that is done, we expect Monti to give the people the chance to choose a government.”

EURO DEAL ..ONE DEAL FOR ONE NWO EUROPE ?GERMANY SAVES EUROPE…50 YEARS IS A SUCH A LONG TIME

≈ Comments Off on EURO DEAL ..ONE DEAL FOR ONE NWO EUROPE ?GERMANY SAVES EUROPE…50 YEARS IS A SUCH A LONG TIME

In the 1920s Germany was infamous for Economic Turmoil and in the 40sinfamous for destroying Europe ; but in the 2011 it has come strong in saving Europe from Economic crisis.

It is just irony that Germany that was despised just 50 years ago is now saving Europe , or is it not ?  Though Hitler’s reign brought a lot of untold pain to many in Europe, through  the Nazi concentration camps , Angela Merkel has opted to bring Relief in Europe.

Germany seems to take the route of Slavation rather than Destruction if one critically looks at how it is handling its affairs.

Destruction and Salvation are two different tools but they can lead to oe goal …POWER.

Hitler set out to make Germany Powerful by destroying all European impediments that would not side with him.

Angela Merkel is making Germany powerful by saving Europe , opting to solve the crisis plaguing Greece instead of letting Greece fail and Germany flourish.

Of course, it is because she and the European Elite must save the NWO EU or Eruo Zone.

Yet it is a very wise move of imperialism, being benevolent , at least your enemies will become your friends.

The world is waiting to see just how feasible the Euro Deal or the Merkel Deal is because if it does not work , the world will slide into Armageddon.

Europe sealed a grand deal Thursday to fix its festering debt crisis, shoring up its bailout fund, pledging new funds for Greece and persuading banks to share the pain at a summit vital to the health of the global economy.

// //

After days of talks and two successive summits that dragged on for almost 10 hours as markets and world leaders remained on tenterhooks, EU president Herman Van Rompuy emerged in the wee hours saying: “We took important decisions.”

As markets firmed in Asia, IMF chief Christine Lagarde welcomed “substantial progress”, but European Central Bank chief Jean-Claude Trichet warned that “all of this now requires a lot of work and a lot of quick work.”

The last and perhaps toughest chapter in the four-point plan was a deal between eurozone leaders and the Institute of International Finance banking lobby to force private investors to take a 50 percent loss on Greece’s debt.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel broke off from the summit to save the day and cut a deal with the head of the banking lobby, Charles Dallara of the Institute of International Finance.

“We said it was our last word, our last offer,” said Merkel of threats to allow Greece to default failing agreement.

“We have done what needed doing,” she said.

The banks in past weeks had raised their offer to 40 percent but governments insisted on a 50-percent “haircut”.

The deal aims to slice a whopping 100 billion euros off the 350-billion-euro debt pile hampering Greece, which also won new pledges of a 100-billion-euro loan over the next three years.

“It will be a new start for us,” said Prime Minister George Papandreou, hailing “a new era, a new chapter” for the country.

“The country has signed a very major deal, this is a historic day that can put order in our public finances,” Greek government spokesman Elias Mossialos told private Mega television.

But he also warned that “a lot is at stake in coming days”, noting that Greece’s intransigent opposition parties should help apply economic reforms and banks had to be persuaded to join the country’s debt reduction scheme.

Greek debt woes kicked off a two-year crisis that successively hit Ireland and Portugal before threatening to spill over to the euro area’s third and fourth economies, Italy and Spain.

To address that danger, eurozone leaders agreed to boost their debt rescue fund to one trillion euros.

The firepower of the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF) is to be leveraged up between four- and fivefold using clever financial footwork to avoid governments increasing guarantees.

With the world on tenterhooks, emerging powers China and Russia waded in with offers to help Europe safeguard the global economy by contributing to the fund.

// //

The development came as global powers, from the United States to Japan and China, pressed European leaders to come up with a lasting solution to the debt crisis before a G20 summit in France on November 3 and 4.

Europe’s leaders agreed two options to boost the EFSF without increasing commitments from member states as taxpayers in countries such as Germany complain about pouring money down what they see as a bottomless hole.

The first option allows the EFSF to provide risk insurance on new debt issued by fragile governments, in a bid to convince investors to continue buying their bonds and keep interest rates low.

A second fund, linked to the EFSF, will be created to attract private and public investors, including countries outside the eurozone. This investment vehicle could also be associated with the International Monetary Fund, an idea Russia has said it prefers.

With fears growing that the debt drama will turn into a banking system meltdown, European leaders also struck a deal to force banks to recapitalise at a summit of the 27-nation EU that preceded the eurozone talks.

“We made good progress on the bank recapitalisation, that wasn’t watered down, it now has been agreed,” said British Prime Minister David Cameron.

The European Banking Authority said banks would need 106 billion euros to fulfill the requirements.

With fears of contagion hitting Italy, Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi came to the summit with a detailed list of pledges to cut his country’s 1.9-trillion-euro debt.

ISRAEL… THE NEW UNOFFICIAL MEMBER OF THE EUROPEAN UNION

ISRAEL… THE NEW   UNOFFICIAL  MEMBER OF THE EUROPEAN UNION

IS ISRAEL IS ABOUT TO SAY “HASTA LA VISTA MIDDLE EAST ?”

Though it is not strange for Israel to play in European football leagues , it is a noteworthy observation for anyone studying and analyzing events occurring in Israel and its environs. With Israel part of the UEFA Euro championships , one can safely say that Israel is seeking EU membership as Europe cajoles her to their side.

Just a sneak preview of the ongoing relationship between Israel and Europe ,shows that Israel is strangely warming up to Europe to the point of joining the EU. This may not be overt as we would want it to be , but covertly , Israel is more eligible , or is being considered more eligible than Turkey due to what Europe can gain from Israel.

For the first time Europe is facing what Israel has faced for years since its inception in 1948 : Cross hairs with the Muslim World.

During World War 2, the 1940s , Europe was not facing issues of Muslim Immigration. In fact, Nazi Germany was concerned about Jewish Immigration , yet though immigrants , Jews in Europe  were as European as the Non Jewish Europeans by birth and years of living in Europe.

During World War Three , in these 1990s and 2000s, Europe has new neighbor that has a totally different culture and political thought that threatens the Western make up : The Muslim Immigrant , and not the Jewish Emigrant.

Of course , the European Elite are not in conflict with the Muslim Elite , but most of the European masses now connect with the Israeli masses when it comes to them having a conflict of interests with  the  Muslim masses and thought .

Now for European Elite to be relevant to their people, they have to connect with the masses and since the masses are uniting with Israel, the Elite have no choice but formulate cordial relations with the Jewish State. Recent polls in  some European countries like Italy  showed people supporting Israel’s stance in the Middle East Crisis.

This is not due to the sympathy of the  Nazi past but the empathy of the Islamic –Judeo/Western present and future.

Meanwhile , Israel has been isolated evidenced by  its absence in the membership of regional blocs in the Middle East . For example the Arab League is called the Arab league and not the Middle East League yet Israel is within the region of the Arab League.

Yet again most of the people in Israel who returned back home from Europe still speak European languages .Thus no need of denying their European heritage.

So Israel , seeking regional cooperation is opting to join Europe and benefit from Regional Protection, Regional Sustainability and Regional Offensives, as the enemy is shared .

Thus it is only a matter of time before Israelis call themselves Europeans .Question is will Israel overtake Turkey in its quest for European Union Membership ?

NORWAY DOUBLE TRAGEDY – NWO TRAGEDY AND GOD’S JUDGMENT… REASONS WHY THE NWO FOOTPRINTS ARE ON THE SANDY SHORES OF NORWAY, AS GOD ALLOWS THE SWORD TO RUN IN NORWAY

≈ Comments Off on NORWAY DOUBLE TRAGEDY – NWO TRAGEDY AND GOD’S JUDGMENT… REASONS WHY THE NWO FOOTPRINTS ARE ON THE SANDY SHORES OF NORWAY, AS GOD ALLOWS THE SWORD TO RUN IN NORWAY

NORWAY , ISRAEL AND THE JUDGMENT OF SWORD IN NORWAY.

Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:
Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee.

Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth. And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.
I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not return: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:
Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee.

Ezekiel 35:5-6, 8-11

We are deeply saddened by what has happened in Norway .It is despicable that people would be filed with such malice to kill innocent people.Innocent in the sense that they did not participate in any war nor were they armed .It is sad.God comfort the people of Norway.

Yet we are not ignorant about the road Norway is treading as far as the NWO is concerned .The NWO Elite have  and are using nations to implement their plan which is Antichrist in nature.

The NWO loves using Norway for issues pertaining to Israel and Palestine hence the verse talking about the desire to have the two nations for their own good. The Elite are splitting Israel for their belly not for peace and they use other nations to implement their plans.

48 hours before the Cold Murder , some Youth at the Labour Party Youth Camp expressed their views about Israel before the Norwegian Foreign Minister...courtesy averyheavystone blog.

There are some reasons , even 100 reasons, why this tragedy is a perfect puzzle piece in the NWO JIGSAW.

1. OCCULT NUMEROLOGY.

The bomb attack and massacre took place 18 years after the famous Israel and Palestine Accords called the Oslo Accords .18 is 6 +6+ 6. Remember in the 24 hour clock system 6 pm is also 1800 HRS.

Moreover it took place on July 22 , 2 11s ..whether Muslim terror or Hindu when terrorist attacks take place in Western and NO Muslim countries the dates must rhyme with number 11.

2. THE OSLO ACCORDS ARE NWO ACCORDS TO DIVIDE ISRAEL FOR THE RICH ELITE OF THE WORLD

Secondly, the accords go against the will of God in the Bible that calls Israel God’s land .The Bible is clear in Ezekiel that those accords are nothing but treaties to colonize Israel and hence divide it for the Rich Elite.

The Rich Elite have been blackmailed by the Islamic Elite that they can bring the world down with Oil prices if Palestine is not created .Oslo Accords was the first step and 18 years later they will create a State that will stir up God’s wrath.

.

Norway has undergone A SWORD JUDGMENT because of the Oslo Accords that were set to divide Israel this year. The Oslo Accords will also bring sword and bloodshed in Israel SOON as the accords brought bloodshed at their inception in 1993.

3. THE NWO IS NOT JUST MAN MADE ..IT IS SPIRITUAL

Some people think the NWO are gods who are controlling everything minus God’s will.God is allowing them to control the show just as the book of Revelation is clear that God WILL LET SATAN have power to set up his Antichrist system.

Thus the Kingdom of Satan is embodied in the plans of these elite.Jesus said that Satan has kingdom and where there is a kingdom there is the will of the king, his plan.

4. NORWAY ‘S POLICE DID ANTI TERRORISM DRILLS  A FEW DAYS BEFORE THE ATTACKS.

5. NORWAY HAD A PUBLIC HOLIDAY THAT DAY..Real terror attacks take place where there are many people.IN this case guns were preferred to a bomb ? strange

6. INFO WARS PREDICTED A TERROR ATTACK THAT WILL BE BLAMED ON WHITE CHRISTIANS  A DAY BEFORE THE NORWAY TRAGEDY

A day before the event, I visited the infowars website just to see whether they were on the right track of things .Sometimes I find it more newsworthy than the MSM, though it sometimes transforms itself into a  Mouthpiece for the Right. Christians should BE NEUTRAL when it comes to Politics.

To my surprise, THE DAY BEFORE THE ATTACKS ,they had articles about how a terror event would take place and that it would be blamed on White Christians who would be deemed Terrorist hence bring to the world’s attention the “RISE OF CHRISTIAN TERRORISM”.

What has the MSM repeatedly called the suspect Breivik ? A CHRISTIAN FUNDAMENTALIST …hence our next point.

7. THE MEDIA SPILL/MANTRA- “CHRISTIAN FUNDAMENTALIST”

This is one big bone of proof that shows the fact that this tragedy is NWO in nature. How can the Media lie ? Breivik did not call himself a fundamentalist but a Christian. Why not use the word Christian ?

Ah, but they had to put the word fundamentalist and also stress that he visited Christian-Fundamentalist websites.(whatever that means )

First of all, a true Christian is a Fundi because Fundamentalism means going back to the main roots of the faith.Christian faith is about Love and being Law abiding..those are the fundamentals of Christianity, THE BASICS.

Killing is not fundamentalism in Christianity ,it is a sin. Why are they redefining English ? To create a new crime.

Their aim is to train the world that a Christian Fundamentalist is bad or a Christian who calls Christians to go back to the roots of true Christianity is evil and a terrorist and a psycho!

There are some Christian groups and sites that use theology and the Bible to justify  HATE and PREJUDICE .That cannot be called Christian Fundamentalism because the fundamentals of Christianity are not prejudice and  hatred of human beings who do not agree with our views.

Breivik is saying that he had issues with the Labour Government , which we know is Pro Two State Solution, as far as Israel is concerned. He also wants to change Norway for good.

ANDERS BREIVIK WANTED TO CHANGE NORWAY FOR GOOD CAUSES ??.... THE END DOES NOT JUSTIFY THE MEANS

However you cannot bring good with evil .MURDER IS EVIL .This is why we arrest people not for their thoughts but their actions.

Yet the NWO wants to arrest people for their thoughts before they have acted which is not lawful .Thus Breivik is the best justification to such NWO plans.

Has Norway opened the cup of judgment in Europe concerning Israel ? I believe so ….Spain should tread carefully.

Let us keep our eyes  open even as Ukweli is on reflective hibernation only to pop when serious NWO events occur .These are perilous times.

God Bless You Norway .God Bless You Brethren.

GEERT WILDERS CLEARED OF HATE CHARGES —- JUSTICE TRIUMPHS ?

23 Thursday Jun 2011

Posted by arthurgraph in EUROPE, NETHERLANDS

≈ Comments Off on GEERT WILDERS CLEARED OF HATE CHARGES —- JUSTICE TRIUMPHS ?

Geert Wilders who had been accused of inciting hatred against Muslims has been acquitted by a Dutch Court. This was a wise judgment by Judge Oosten as far as we are concerned.

GEERT WILDERS ...TO SOME HE IS A SAINT , TO OTHERS A VILLAIN ....just like Osama Bin Laden was portrayed as Hero for some , Villain for others ...the two qualifications that everyone that has

The judge stated in his 2o minute judgment that there was nothing criminal in the statements Geert Wilders made as they were directed to Islam and not to Muslims. Wilders had called Islam Fascist and likened the Koran to Hilter’s book Mein Kampf and had a movie that portrayed Islam in a bad light.

The judge should be commended for upholding the freedom of expression and understanding the dynamics of hate speech.

Hate is an emotion  as far as language is concerned .And emotion is a natural because it has to with sense .Hate being an emotion on its own,  is a subjective issue because we have not seen all the colors of hate yet and what one hates another loves .

This is why Laws are always Dictatorial – the word dictate comes from dicere – to say which means words .Hence dictionary , diction, edict(law) and dictator.

For example, the Law God gave the Children of Israel was basically what he loved and what he hates put in words – he said and it was written down .

It is ludicrous to say that God’s Law is Natural Law  because in God’s Law not all flesh must be eaten yet naturally , fleshy meats are edible . God banned the eating of pork , and sea creatures  that had no fins , for reasons he made known;according to him, those animals were unclean.

Yet naturally , many people eat sea food and pork and have not died .Thus God’s Law is based on what he wants and not about nature .

Some may say the New Testament allows for eating of all foods as long as one offers them in prayer unto God .Yes yet the Jewish Apostles  commanded the Gentile believers not to eat strangled animals and fornicate .Thus when it came to food, what Gentiles called natural to the Jews was unnatural.

Secondly, in the area of sexual relations , God set boundaries not on nature because the law of nature is when a a fertile man relates with a fertile woman , they will have a child irrespective of their positions in the family .

But God set boundaries for the Israel not to cross, basing on the reason that he did not want family members to mix with one another .It was abomination based on what God wanted/loved and not wanted /hated  and not based on Nature , because babies are born from any union of a man and woman.

So Laws are based on the emotions of the law makers who justify those emotions with reasons that justify the law they make .Natural Law is distinct from God’s Law and God’s Law is distinct from Man’s Law.

Nature has not spoken so how can we claim there is a Natural law .God says and Man says hence are dictators.

HATE SPEECH  AND DEMOCRACIES

—- IS EMOTION CRIMINAL ? IT IS WHAT EMOTIONS LEAD YOU TO DO AND EVEN THEN , YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR YOUR ACTION AND NOT THE EMOTION.

The World is getting very strong technologically but weak psychologically . People that live with nuclear weapons and guns and laser guns are so concerned  about being hurt emotionally to the extent that just saying you hate what they like is a crime !

The hate speech law is not useless as such, when someone says a lie that damages one’s reputation . However such wrongs have  already been covered under Libel and Slander , why create Hate Speech ?

These Law makers want to extend crime to one’s thoughts and opinions , when we are given freedom to view our thoughts and opinion s.

Democracies are to allow free speech because many people are ruling therefore many people have different views .However a Monarchy only tolerates one view and those who have different views should go before the King and tell him or else face treason charges .

So are we under Monarchies ? We need to know so  that we are not accused of treason .

Yes we are under Monarchies disguised as Democracies and especially since 2001 the Antichrist Monarchy is ruling through the Governments of the World.

HATE SPEECH IN  THE BIBLE

People who are accusing Geert Wilders of hate are just in for a shock when they read the Bible .If the crime of Hate Speech is retrospective people like Paul , Jesus Christ  and the Prophets would be put in jail in absentia or taken their assets up.

Actually it happened . Paul and Jesus and the disciples and prophets were killed just for their words !

Just take a look at some examples of words which if taken to our modern courts one would term them as hate speech

1. Paul called the Galatians (people living in Galatia ) FOOLISH –

2.Peter called walking in lusts and banqueting and lascivousness -the will of the Gentiles , thus stating that Gentiles normally do such . And he was right in that sense because the Jews law was basically law that prohibited what Gentiles allowed.

3.Jesus called the Pharisees Children of the Devil AND VIPERS

4. Isaiah and Jeremiah prophesied that animals were better in reasoning than the people of Israel who were as stubborn as mules .

Now Geert Wilders has not called Muslims Foolish nor has he called them Children of the Devil but since he may claim to be  a Christian , thus the Bible his  source of religious authority , the Bible has labelled people those names .Now who do you blame ?The Koran calls for Killing in Sura 9 . Who do you blame when one obeys that commandment ?

Thus the folly of the hate  speech laws . It is so remote to connect statements of disgust and hate to crime .

Jesus called the Pharisees many offensive names , but at his trial they could not prove him of any crime because his speech and views were not criminal acts !

Hence when people give their views why the do not like or like something an opinion , religious economic or political  they have done nothing criminal.

Now if someone kills based on those views , that person should be arrested and tried not because of the views but because he has killed because in that same country there are people who hold the same views but have not killed anybody.

So if this Hate Speech Laws continue to exist , then I guess many Christians and Muslims will be in jail because their  writings have spoken words against people which would be deemed as hateful .

God Bless You,

Arthur Owiti

Geert Wilders cleared of hate charges by Dutch court       http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-13883331

Dutch far-right politician Geert Wilders has been acquitted of charges of inciting hatred against Muslims.

Mr Wilders had described Islam as “fascist”, comparing the Koran to Hitler’s Mein Kampf.

He insisted his statements were directed at Islam and not at Muslim believers – something which is legal under Dutch law.

Judge Marcel van Oosten told him his statements were “acceptable within the context of public debate”.

“The bench finds that although gross and degenerating, it did not give rise to hatred,” he said.

The verdict was greeted with applause from Mr Wilders’ supporters in the public gallery.

Outside the courtroom, the 47-year-old politician said he was “incredibly happy” with the verdict.

“It’s not only an acquittal for me, but a victory for freedom of expression in the Netherlands,” he said.

Members of minority groups who initiated the case had told the trial that Mr Wilders’ comments had led to a rise in discrimination and violence against Muslims.

Plaintiffs had been seeking a symbolic one-euro fine. Before the court verdict, they had said they would consider taking their case to the European Court of Human Rights.

Mr Wilders was charged with inciting hatred and discrimination in January 2009, based on anti-Islamic statements he had made in speeches, written articles and in his controversial film Fitna.

His trial began in January 2010, after judges of the court in Amsterdam ruled that the case should be heard – despite a decision by the public prosecutors’ office not to pursue it.

Even during the trial, the prosecutors had called for Mr Wilders to be acquitted, saying that while his remarks were offensive they should be part of legitimate political debate.

Although not part of the coalition government, the support of Mr Wilders’s Freedom Party (PVV) keeps it in power.

GREECE IS LEADING THE WORLD INTO NWO ECONOMIC ENSLAVEMENT

THE PRIME MINISTER OF GREECE — A PUPPET OF THE  PAPAL EU OR A SERVANT OF THE PEOPLE ?

The home of democracy, the once mighty superpower, Greece  has been sacrificed for the sake of the Euro. Today’s vote of confidence has just intensified  the NWO versus the people.

In what was  deemed to be a historic speech, Prime Minister Mr George Papandreou  called for strict taxation and allowing privatization of public assets .This is just a polite way of saying Greece is no longer a sovereign nation.

Solidifying the  fact that the Borrower is the Slave of the Lender  .

IS THE NWO EU SYSTEM REALLY SENSIBLE AND USEFUL ?

INTEGRATION IS JUST  A POLITE WAY OF COLONIZATION.

The so called State Integrations   such as NAFTA , The African Union , The European Union are unions of the rich elite, banks, and royals, both political and religious royals such as popes and archbishops.

These unions are actually FEDERATIONS.

WHAT IS A FEDERATION

The word federation means A union by agreement. It comes from the term treaty, alliance   in Latin which is foedus and is related to the word fides  that is faith, loyalty .Thus it means a system or body set up based on a covenant or treaty .

Such bodies differ from nations that are set up based on language and races.

Thus for every covenant or federation, there must be parties .And in those agreements most of the parties are not equal in strength though theorists would love to believe that that is the case.

In the World’s History of Treaties , there has always been a winner and a loser .

Thus where  treaties were made between colonialists and the colonized , most of the times the colonialists won or got the upper hand of the agreement .

In today’s integration of states, it is the Rich States that gain over the Poor States since the borrower is the slave of the Lender .Thus the Rich State cannot exist without a poor state to confirm the wealth of the rich state.

The Colonialists is not a Colonialist without colonies .The colonies prove their authority.

Therefore the Greek Debacle was necessary to prove to the world that there are countries whose job and role is to be colonized and others to colonize. This is a sad reality as most of the people of these nations did not want to be part of these integrated bodies and now are paying the price for what they did not vote for.

For example, there are Greeks and Irish people  who did not vote for their countries to join the EU. Yet their governments are going to use their taxes and money to fight default which is basically impossible thus will just end up selling public assets , disregarding those public voters who voted against the EU.

This is more proof that whether one votes yes or no or does not vote is useless because as long as the Elite call you a debtor , you have to pay not just to save your neck but to save the empire of the Elite, the European Union , African  Union NAFTA and UN.

There are no sovereign nations –all nations are slaves to those they have borrowed from and those lenders happen to be one class of rich elite that serves the Vatican and Royal Families of Europe.

This is the Antichrist Rule over all the earth and it is going to be a short but  most stressful economic and political times the world has ever seen. Turn to Jesus Christ .Call on his name for he is a strong tower and the righteous run into it and are safe. You need safety NOW.

God Keep You,

A SONG OF SAFETY —–HERE

FIFA WORLD WAR 1 … FA, Britain versus Sepp Blatter..and other stories of Corruption from around the world

GLOBAL CORRUPTION : CORRUPTION IN FOOTBALL ,THE CHURCH AND IN THE GOVERNMENT…            A   TALE OF THREE CITIES .. Zurich, Switzerland  , Atlanta, America and Nairobi, Kenya

by Arthur Owiti

From left: Corruption in Football in Europe ; Corruption in the Church in America ; Corruption in Government and Economics in Kenya

The British FA is calling for postponement of the FIFA elections despite FIFA’S adamant resolve to go ahead with them .This is due to the corruption claims dogging the world football body.Africa seems to have a smile of relief as it sees with awe the depth of corruption in FIFA .

However it is also a shame on its part that most of the officials caught in the fray are of African descent. Nonetheless, this a lesson of how the Love of Money has ruined institutions in the world irrespective of race or creed.

CORRUPTION  AND THE LOVE OF MONEY  IN FOOTBALL.. Prince William Tells Off Blatter

President Sepp Blatter of FIFA has been advised by the British FA and Prince William to postpone the elections

FIFA is going on with elections despite the recent exposure and investigation of gross corruption within the executive body. Yet there are calls from Britain , its FA and Prince William to postpone the elections pending an independent inquiry on the allegations of corruption .

This has been decided after Blatter , President of FIFA who is also running for reelection adamantly denounced the claims of corruption within the body. His defence is that FIFA is a family and a family must protect its members and its secrets.

However what he is forgetting is that these family secrets should be known if they affect public interests which means the whole football world.

This is what the other camp led by the British FA is insisting , hence calling for postponement of the elections. In fact we are going to see whether Britain will use her colonies to downplay the elections.Britain always has the Common Wealth Card to seal the game.

Most African countries cannot disown Blatter who brought the World Cup to Africa after facing gruel opposition for years within the FIFA family.Remember how they told Blatter to cancel the South Africa deal in the middle of preparations because “Africa was not ready “. Hence the smooth reelection of  Blatter unless unless.

WHAT CORRUPTION ?

These calls of corruption arose when England’s revealed how some FIFA officials asked to be bribed with knighthoods and monetary gifts for them to vote for Britain to hold the World Cup.According to the England Lobby they “refused” to heed to their calls. England did not win the bid.

3 weeks before the election, public revelations of these deals  were  made by the English Lobby without warning to FIFA putting Blatter at a tight spot to respond to the allegations.

Blatter utterly denied the allegations of corruption. The next week , Blatter’s only opponent Mohammed bin Hammam, was mentioned in a corruption scandal thus smearing his chances of running for president. He then “confessed that Blatter was also aware of the bribery deals.

Blatter nipped him in the bud when he relinquished his quest for the presidency after a in house inquiry was called upon to investigate the Qatari.

Questions abound that if Britain had got the bid would these revelations be made public ?

This the  hypocrisy of fighting corruption and exposing scandals that people only get involved in it when their interests are in danger or out of sheer jealousy of another party winning the bid.

They only expose to get even and not to enhance efficiency and integrity in the institution. This is not to say that the officials are innocent by begging parties to bribe them. It however puts a question mark on whistle blowers as to what seems to motivate them.

CORRUPTION IN THE CHURCH …

Bishop Eddie Long and Mr Parris and other co-Accusers /Lovers reached a "settlement "

This applies also to scandals of celebrities and TV Pastors .In this time of Economic recession people are going to let out secrets to get paid . For example Bishop Eddie Long’s case has been settled after “resolving the dispute “ .We can guess that this means money settlement which to me puts more question marks on the motives of the accusers than the accused .

Was the case a lover’s quarrel or rape ?

If it was rape the accusers should have adamantly pushed for the truth to be known and declared by an independent court of law with Bishop Eddie Long leaving New Birth Church. But it seems these were lovers who just got to expose the Pastor’s dirty big secrets to get money .Big shame .

CORRUPTION IN THE GOVERNMENT ..KENYA GOVERNMENT REVIVES UCHUMI SUPERMARKET WITHOUT HEALING THE INJUSTICE CAUSED BY  FRAUDULENT DIRECTORS

President Mwai Kibaki of the Republic of Kenya and his business partner Mr Chris Kirubi who was accused of defrauding Uchumi supermarket but acquited after which the President urged Kenyans to buy stock in the company

The Kenya Government glossed over a serious case of fraud by former executives of Uchumi supermarket  who were accused of embezzling thousands of dollars to the point of bankrupting the company. The executives went through the court process unscathed walking Scot free.

Guess what ? One of the executives, Mr. Chris Kirubi is the President  Kibaki ‘s Financial Partner !! The same President then attends a re-listing of the Supermaket at the Stock Market because the government has a stake in the company. They glossed over the wicked sin of his partners through his courts that “did not find any evidence to implicate him of wrong doing “.

How can they call for the same  shareholders  who believe  justice has not been done for them  against the fraudster executives  who stole their money  in the first place ??

Well that shows how the Love of Money and Greed has polluted practically every institution in the world .

GOD MADE MAN , MAN MADE MONEY , MONEY MADE MAN MAD ,   MAN MADE GOD MAD

For those three cities we can affirm that the love of money is the root of all evil.Flee from that love.

BARCELONA WINS CHAMPIONS LEAGUE :OF FOOTBALL CLUBS AND RELIGION

UPDATED …. BARCELONA IS CALLED CATALONIA AND GUESS WHO IS THE PATRON OF SAINT OF CATALONIA ? ST GEORGE THE PATRON SAINT OF ENGLAND

BARCELONA (HALF CAST ENGLISH TEAM ) BEATS MANCHESTER UNITED(NO. 2 ENGLISH TEAM) …THEY ARE UNITED BY THE CATHOLIC ENGLISH SAINT GEORGE’S CROSS

We have been studying how Crosses have been embedded in the flags of European Countries including America.Yet this influence is not just bound to nations but football clubs . This is done to tie the masses to the religion in the end.

Barcelona has defeated Manchester United  (The Assistant English Team )  in the UEFA Champions League Final at Wembley England. This was seen as a Spanish -English duel but what many do not know is that Barcelona has English roots which are Catholic Roots.

A look at the flag of Barcelona and one sees the Red Cross of St George adorned therein. This happened because the founders of the club were Swiss , English and Spaniards .So to mark out the English , they put St George’s Cross.

BARCELONA IS ALSO AN ENGLISH TEAM?  Proof of Religious influence in Sports
The Flag of England , St George’s Cross

SPORTS  AND ENTERTAINMENT  IN THE BIBLE

Sport is generally an interaction with another and it can mean to entertain,to show off skill and talent .This applies also to the word “to play”.

That is why the only Holy Bible in English, KJV Bible, uses the word play on harlots , warriors and musicians (playing instruments) and dancers and lovers .

That is why you find people running to pornography(watching the harlots play) or discography (music or dancing ) or Olympics or even courting by lovers as seen with Isaac and Rebecca—all these are different kinds of sports .

Genesis 26:8 And it came to pass, when he had been there a long time, that Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out at a window, and saw, and, behold, Isaac was sporting with Rebekah his wife.

However for war, it is not entertainment but serious sports that leads to death and acquisition of property. This is seen in the story of Abner and Joab in the book of 2 Samuel.

And Abner said to Joab, Let the young men now arise, and play before us. And Joab said, Let them arise. 2:14

And there was a very sore battle that day; and Abner was beaten, and the men of Israel, before the servants of David. 2:17

So because these activities require energy and skill , it seems they all acquired the same words of play and sports.

SPORTS REPLACED WAR TIME.

People either went to war had leisure time Basically men were to be on stand by to defend the kingdom even though there already existed a standing army of soldiers .Sports however was not war but had the same characteristics of war- discipline for the individual and unity for the team. The more a team has disciplined individuals , when they play in unity they will win.

Football is said to have been well coined in England . However at its inception, football was seen as a vice because it made men ignore practice for war in the King’s army .So some Kings banned football .However it became popular in schools until the 1800s when proper rules were set for the game.

Then came the clubs (another war term) and football clubs were set up to play against each other in a league (a biblical word for covenant or agreement , only found in the KJV Bible ).

These teams played under the agreed term that the best team wins the league . Clubs grew from nowhere and many clubs set up their mottos and symbols .Yet what is striking is how religion was engrossed in many of those clubs .

Thus the players were seen as knights or warriors of the team and therefore heading for war on the football pitch.

Just look at the symbols of some clubs in Portugal that are adorned with the false doctrine of Worshiping  “Mother of God” Mary holding  baby Jesus (Nimrod/Tammuz) .

FC PORTO with Mary and child at the top right quadrant and bottom left quadrant
SC Braga of Portugal

So what ?  Well this just shows how Religion is slowly embossed in the Life of Europe and juts because it seems Europe is gone to the dogs when it comes to religion , it still has its tentacles on it through sports and through culture.

The  Catholic Crusades and the Holy Roman Empire are the roots of Europe and when you want to cut a tree to death you cut it by the roots .

Its these roots that define Europe and the symbols of football clubs do nothing but reinforce that definition of Catholic Europe and Quasi Catholic England.

OBAMA IN BRITAIN–THE DAY OBAMA CONQUERED GREAT BRITAIN ?

BUT HIS STANCE ON ISRAEL WILL MAKE  GREAT BRITAIN AND USA  BECOME CONQUERED NATIONS

President Obama speaking to both houses of the British Parliament

If Obama’s speech is implemented, the West would resurrect from the dead .This speech clearly spelt the Anglo-American Empire that rules the world and how makeovers keep you forever young.

The secret Empires use to survive is a Make Over …if not they face a take over. The Roman Empire is not dead but lives through the Roman Catholic Church that married the Pagan Empire to its own convenience .This helped in preserving Latin that is now a great contributor to almost all spheres of Life as we write English using the Latin Alphabet, laws employ Latin Maxims and the Catholic church still uses Latin in their worldwide congregations  (aka the universal church).

An Empire which does not change fizzles away .

What makes USA and Britain top notch is that Britain conquered the World for America by conquering the politics and education of the world.
China and India are not Christian. Countries but they have laws similar to that of England .
Islamic Countries hang on Sharia Law but because it is religious , it cannot dominate all peoples without a bloody fight.

When China does business in Africa it does it under British-styled Laws and American systems of government. So despite China’s prowess in Economic terms it cannot succeed if it does not conquer the politics of the majority by giving an alternative system of politics and education.

However this is why World War can silence the West if her enemies unite against a weak West .This is why Obama’s speech was timely for a dying West to be revived but will it ? only time will tell as Empires have to fall some day and somehow. It was a good speech…..

BUT

OBAMA’S TWO STATE SOLUTION IN ISRAEL WILL FINISH THE WESTERN RULE OVER THE WORLD

We have highlighted what we considered the main points especially the point on Israel which if Obama still insists to pursue this speech will not be an inspiration but an obituary column ; a eulogy before the death of the West .Israel is God’s Land and you have to deal with it by God ‘s terms .One King had to learn that lesson

Wherefore they spake to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations
which thou hast removed, and placed in the cities of Samaria, know not
the manner of the God of the land: therefore he hath sent lions among
them, and, behold, they slay them, because they know not the manner of
the God of the land 2 Kings 17:26

That land was Israel when the King of Assyria took the Jews into captivity but filled the land with foreigners who did what they want but ended up being devoured by lions .Israel need not to be divided if Palestinians love peace but the path of division is the cementing of hatred .The word divorce is similar to division and divorce is the nightmare of any family and marriage.

Well Time will show who really his the Protector of the Land of Israel..Jesus Christ the King of Israel and Prince of the kings of the nations.Time will tell.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Below is President Obama’s speech given at Westminster. (added with my comments in red main points in blue)

— My Lord Chancellor, Mr. Speaker, Mr. Prime Minister, my Lords, and Members of the House of Commons:

I have known few greater honors than the opportunity to address the Mother of Parliaments at Westminster Hall. I’m told the last three speakers here have been The Pope, Her Majesty the Queen, and Nelson Mandela, which is either a very high bar or the beginning of a very funny joke.

I come here today to reaffirm one of the oldest and strongest alliances the world has ever known. It has long been said that the United States and the United Kingdom share a special relationship. And since we also share an especially active press corps, that relationship is often analyzed and overanalyzed for the slightest hint of stress or strain.

Of course, all relationships have their ups and downs. Admittedly, ours got off on the wrong foot with a small scrape about tea and taxes. There may have also been some hurt feelings when the White House was set on fire during the War of 1812. But fortunately, it’s been smooth sailing ever since!

The reason for this close friendship doesn’t just have to do with our shared history and heritage; our ties of language and culture; or even the strong partnership between our governments. Our relationship is special because of the values and beliefs that have united our people through the ages.

Centuries ago, when kings, emperors, and warlords reigned over much of the world, it was the English who first spelled out the rights and liberties of man in the Magna Carta. It was here, in this very hall, where the rule of law first developed, courts were established, disputes were settled, and citizens came to petition their leaders.

Over time, the people of this nation waged a long and sometimes bloody struggle to expand and secure their freedom from the crown. Propelled by the ideals of the Enlightenment, they would ultimately forge an English Bill of Rights, and invest the power to govern in the elected parliament that’s gathered here today.

What began on this island would inspire millions throughout the continent of Europe and across the world. But perhaps no one drew greater inspiration from these notions of freedom than your rabble-rousing colonists on the other side of the Atlantic. As Winston Churchill said, the “...Magna Carta, the Bill of Rights, the Habeas Corpus, trial by jury, and English common law find their most famous expression in the American Declaration of Independence.”(UK controls USA )

For both of our nations, living up to the ideals enshrined in these founding documents has always been a work in progress. The path has never been perfect. But through the struggles of slaves and immigrants; women and ethnic minorities; former colonies and persecuted religions, we have learned better than most that the longing for freedom and human dignity is not English or American or Western — it is universal, and it beats in every heart.(this is for you Pope)

Perhaps that is why there are few nations that stand firmer, speak louder, and fight harder to defend democratic values around the world than the United States and the United Kingdom.( this is for you Russia and China)

We are the allies who landed at Omaha and Gold; who sacrificed side by side to free a continent from the march of tyranny, and help prosperity flourish from the ruins of war. And with the founding of NATO — a British idea(therefore NATO is a British Army) — we joined a transatlantic alliance that has ensured our security for over half a century.

Together with our Allies, we forged a lasting peace from a cold war. When the Iron Curtain lifted, we expanded our alliance to include the nations of Central and Eastern Europe, and built new bridges to Russia and the former states of the Soviet Union. And when there was strife in the Balkans, we worked together to keep the peace.

Today, after a difficult decade that began with war and ended in recession, our nations have arrived at a pivotal moment once more. A global economy that once stood on the brink of depression is now stable and recovering. After years of conflict, the United States has removed 100,000 troops from Iraq, the United Kingdom has removed its forces, and our combat mission has ended. In Afghanistan, we have broken the Taliban’s momentum, and will soon begin a transition to Afghan lead. And nearly 10 years after 9/11, we have disrupted terrorist networks and dealt al Qaeda a huge blow by killing its leader — Osama bin Laden.

Together, we have met great challenges. But as we enter this new chapter in our shared history, profound challenges stretch before us.

In a world where the prosperity of all nations is now inextricably linked, a new era of cooperation is required to ensure the growth and stability of the global economy. As new threats spread across borders and oceans, we must dismantle terrorist networks and stop the spread of nuclear weapons; confront climate change and combat famine and disease. And as a revolution races through the streets of the Middle East and North Africa, the entire world has a stake in the aspirations of a generation that longs to determine its own destiny.

ANGLO--AMERICAN RULE IS REAL

These challenges come at a time when the international order has already been reshaped for a new century(the New World Order is a done deal).

Countries like China, India, and Brazil are growing by leaps and bounds. We should welcome this development, for it has lifted hundreds of millions from poverty around the globe, and created new markets and opportunities for our own nations.( Notice he mentions the BRICS here ..this is proof that the East is the Product of the West.)

And yet, as this rapid change has taken place, it has become fashionable in some quarters to question whether the rise of these nations will accompany the decline of American and European influence around the world. Perhaps, the argument goes, these nations represent the future, and the time for our leadership has passed.

That argument is wrong. The time for our leadership is now. It was the United States, the United Kingdom, and our democratic allies that shaped a world in which new nations could emerge and individuals could thrive. And even as more nations take on the responsibilities of global leadership, our Alliance will remain indispensible to the goal of a century that is more peaceful, more prosperous and more just.( America Britain and Rome Ruling the World)

At a time when threats and challenges require nations to work in concert with one another, we remain the greatest catalyst for global action. In an era defined by the rapid flow of commerce and information, it is our free market tradition, fortified by our commitment to basic security for our citizens, that offers the best chance of prosperity that is both strong and shared. As millions are still denied their basic human rights because of who they are, or what they believe, or the kind of government they live under, we are the nations most willing to stand up for the values of tolerance and self-determination that lead to peace and dignity.

This doesn’t mean we can afford to stand still. The nature of our leadership will need to change with the times. As I said the first time I came to London as President, the days are gone when Roosevelt and Churchill could sit in a room and solve the world’s problems over a glass of brandy — though I’m sure Prime Minister Cameron would agree that some days we could both use a stiff drink. In this century, our joint leadership will require building new partnerships, adapting to new circumstances, and remaking ourselves to meet the demands of a new era.

That begins with our economic leadership.

Adam Smith’s central insight remains true today: there is no greater generator of wealth and innovation than a system of free enterprise that unleashes the full potential of individual men and women. That is what led to the Industrial Revolution that began in the factories of Manchester. That is what led to the dawn of an Information Age that arose from the office parks of Silicon Valley. And that is why countries like China, India and Brazil are growing so rapidly — because in fits and starts, they are moving towards the market-based principles that the United States and the United Kingdom have always embraced.

In other words, we live in a global economy that is largely of our own making.(that is true , the making of UK AND USA) And today, the competition for the best jobs and industries favors countries that are free-thinking and forward-looking; countries with the most creative, innovative, entrepreneurial citizens.

That gives nations like the United States and the United Kingdom an inherent advantage. From Newton and Darwin to Edison and Einstein; from Alan Turing to Steve Jobs, we have led the world in our commitment to science and cutting-edge research; the discovery of new medicines and technologies. We educate our citizens and train our workers in the best colleges and universities on Earth. But to maintain this advantage in a world that’s more competitive than ever, we will have to redouble our investments in science and engineering, and renew our national commitments to educating our workforces.

We’ve also been reminded in the last few years that markets can sometimes fail. In the last century, both our nations put in place regulatory frameworks to deal with these challenges — safeguards to protect the banking system after the Great Depression, for example, and regulations were established to prevent the pollution of our air and water during the 1970s.

But in today’s economy, such threats can no longer be contained within the borders of any one country. Market failures can go global, and go viral, and demand international responses. A financial crisis that began on Wall Street infected nearly every continent, which is why we must keep working through forums like the G20 to put in place global rules of the road to prevent future excess and abuse. No country can hide from the dangers of carbon pollution, which is why we must build on what was achieved at Copenhagen and Cancun to leave our children a planet that is cleaner and safer.

Moreover, even when the free market works as it should, both our countries recognize that no matter how responsibly we live our lives, hard times or bad luck, a crippling illness or a layoff, may strike any one of us. And so part of our common tradition has expressed itself in a conviction that every citizen deserves a basic measure of security — health care if you get sick, unemployment insurance if you lose your job, a dignified retirement after a lifetime of hard work. That commitment to our citizens has also been a reason for our leadership in the world.

Having come through a terrible recession, our challenge today is to meet these obligations while ensuring that we’re not consumed with a level of debt that could sap the strength and vitality from our economies. That will require difficult choices and different paths for both of our countries. But we have faced such challenges before, and have always been able to balance the need for fiscal responsibility with the responsibilities we have to one another.

I believe we can do it again, and as we do, the successes and failures of our own past can serve as an example for emerging economies — that it’s possible to grow without polluting; that lasting prosperity comes not from what a nation consumes, but from what it produces, and from the investments it makes in its people and infrastructure.

Just as we must lead on behalf of the prosperity of our citizens, so must we safeguard their security.

Our two nations know what it is to confront evil in the world. Hitler’s armies would not have stopped their killing had we not fought them on the beaches and the landing grounds; in the fields and on the streets. We must never forget that there was nothing inevitable about our victory in that terrible war — it was won through the courage and character of our people.

Precisely because we are willing to bear its burden, we know well the cost of war. That is why we built an Alliance that was strong enough to defend this continent while deterring our enemies. At its core, NATO is rooted in the simple concept of Article Five: that no NATO nation will have to fend on its own; that allies will stand by one another, always. And for six decades, NATO has been the most successful alliance in human history.

YOU WILL NEVER WALK ALONE -Obama and Cameron in London -two negatives make a positive.Weak Britain joining with Weak USA make up a strong Anglo-America

Today, we confront a different enemy. Terrorists have taken the lives of our citizens in New York and in London. And while al Qaeda seeks a religious war with the West, let’s remember that they have killed thousands of Muslims — men, women and children — around the globe. Our nations will never be at war with Islam.(Then why is Islam saying it is at war with West ..Sura 9 of the Quran says it all.Islam is a civilization just like the West hence Like poles repel) Our fight is focused on defeating al Qaeda and its extremist allies. In that effort, we will not relent, as Osama bin Laden and his followers have learned. And as we fight an enemy that respects no law of war, we will continue to hold ourselves to a higher standard — by living up to the values and the rule of law that we so ardently defend.

For almost a decade, Afghanistan has been a central front of these efforts. Throughout those years, you have been a stalwart ally along with so many others who fight by our side. Together, let us pay tribute to all of our men and women who have served and sacrificed over the last several years — they are part of an unbroken line of heroes who have borne the heaviest burden for the freedoms that we enjoy. Because of them, we have broken the Taliban’s momentum. Because of this, we have built the capacity of Afghan Security Forces. And because of that, we are now preparing to turn a corner in Afghanistan by transitioning to Afghan lead. During this transition, we will pursue a lasting peace with those who break from al Qaeda and respect the Afghan Constitution. And we will ensure that Afghanistan is never a safe-haven for terror — but is instead a country that is strong, sovereign, and able to stand on its own two feet.

Indeed, our efforts in this young century have led us to a new concept for NATO that will give us the capabilities needed to meet new threats: terrorism and piracy, cyber attacks and ballistic missiles. But a revitalized NATO will continue to hew to that original vision of its founders, allowing us to rally collective action for the defense of our people, while building upon the broader belief of Roosevelt and Churchill that all nations have both rights and responsibilities, and share a common interest in an international architecture that keeps the peace.

We also share a common interest in stopping the spread of nuclear weapons.(Iran had to be mentioned) Across the globe, nations are locking down nuclear materials so they never fall into the wrong hands. From North Korea to Iran, we have sent a message that those who flaunt their obligations will face consequences — which is why America and the European Union just recently strengthened our sanctions on Iran. And while we hold others to account, we will meet our own obligations under the Non-Proliferation Treaty, and strive for a world without nuclear weapons.

We share a common interest in resolving conflicts that prolong human suffering, and threaten to tear whole regions asunder. In Sudan, after years of war and thousands of deaths, we call on both North and South to pull back from the brink of violence and choose the path of peace. And in the Middle East, we stand united in our support for a secure Israel and a sovereign Palestine.( This is the only nail needed for the West ‘s Coffin- a two state solution)

And we share a common interest in development that advances dignity and security. To succeed, we must cast aside the impulse to look at impoverished parts of the globe as a place for charity. Instead, we should empower the same forces that have allowed our own people to thrive — we should help the hungry to feed themselves, and the doctors who care for the sick; we should support countries that confront corruption, and allow their people to innovate; and we should advance the truth that nations prosper when they allow women and girls to reach their full potential.

We do these things because we believe not simply in the rights of nations, but the rights of citizens. That is the beacon that guided us through our fight against fascism and our twilight struggle against communism. (thank you UK AND USA)  And today, that idea is being put to the test in the Middle East and North Africa. In country after country, people are mobilizing to free themselves from the grip of an iron fist. And while these movements for change are just six months old, we have seen them play out before — from Eastern Europe to the Americas; from South Africa to Southeast Asia.

History tells us that democracy is not easy. It will be years before these revolutions reach their conclusion, and there will be difficult days along the way. Power rarely gives up without a fight — particularly in places where there are divisions of tribe and sect. We also know that populism can take dangerous turns — from the extremism of those who would use democracy to deny minority rights, to the nationalism that left so many scars on this continent in the 20th century.

But make no mistake: what we saw in Tehran, Tunis and Tahrir Square is a longing for the same freedoms that we take for granted at home. It was a rejection of the notion that people in certain parts of the world don’t want to be free, or need to have democracy imposed upon them. It was a rebuke to the worldview of al Qaeda, which smothers the rights of individuals, and would thereby subject them to perpetual poverty and violence. So let there be no doubt: the United States and United Kingdom stand squarely on the side of those who long to be free.

Now we must show that we will back up these words with deeds. That means investing in the future of those nations that transition to democracy, starting with Tunisia and Egypt — by deepening ties of trade and commerce; by helping them demonstrate that freedom brings prosperity. And that means standing up for universal rights — by sanctioning those who pursue repression, strengthening civil society, and supporting the rights of minorities.

We do this knowing that the West must overcome suspicion and mistrust among many in the Middle East and North Africa — a mistrust that is rooted in a difficult past. For years, we have faced charges of hypocrisy from those who do not enjoy the freedoms that they hear us espouse. To them, we must squarely acknowledge that we have enduring interests in the region — to fight terror with partners who may not always be perfect, and to protect against disruptions in the world’s energy supply. But we must also insist that we reject as false the choice between our interests and our ideals; between stability and democracy. Our idealism is rooted in the realities of history — that repression offers only the false promise of stability; that societies are more successful when their citizens are free; and that democracies are the closest allies we have.(Is Uganda, your closest Ally, in Africa, a Democracy ?)

Uganda America's hence Britain's Closest Ally in Africa, is a Democracy ?

It is that truth that guides our action in Libya. It would have been easy at the outset of the crackdown in Libya to say that none of this was our business — that a nation’s sovereignty is more important than the slaughter of civilians within its borders. That argument carries weight with some. But we are different. We embrace a broader responsibility. And while we cannot stop every injustice, there are circumstances that cut through our caution — when a leader is threatening to massacre his people, and the international community is calling for action. That is why we stopped a massacre in Libya. And we will not relent until the people of Libya are protected, and the shadow of tyranny is lifted.

We will proceed with humility, and the knowledge that we cannot dictate outcomes abroad. Ultimately, freedom must be won by the people themselves, not imposed from without. But we can and must stand with those who so struggle. Because we have always believed that the future of our children and grandchildren will be better if other people’s children and grandchildren are more prosperous and free — from the beaches of Normandy, to the Balkans to Benghazi. That is our interest and our ideal. And if we fail to meet that responsibility, who would take our place?

Our action — our leadership — is essential to the cause of human dignity. And so we must act — and lead — with confidence in our ideals, and an abiding faith in the character of our people, who sent us here today.

For there is one final quality that I believe makes the United States and the United Kingdom indispensible to this moment in history. And that is how we define ourselves as nations.

Unlike most countries in the world, we do not define citizenship based on race or ethnicity.(this goes to Birthers in America and African Leaders who believe Africans must be black to be African) Being American or British is not about belonging to a certain group; it’s about believing in a certain set of ideals — the rights of individuals and the rule of law. That is why we hold incredible diversity within our borders. That is why there are people around the world right now who believe that if they come to America, and work hard, they can pledge allegiance to our flag, and call themselves American. And there are people who believe that if they come to England to make a new life for themselves, they can sing God Save the Queen just like any other citizen.(this actually happened in all British Colonies in the world before they attained independence , well at least in Africa )

Yes, our diversity can lead to tension. Throughout history, there have been heated debates about immigration and assimilation in both our countries. But even as these debates can be difficult, we fundamentally recognize that our patchwork heritage is an enormous strength — that in a world which will only grow smaller and more connected, the example of our two nations says that it’s possible for people to be united by their ideals, instead of divided by their differences; that it’s possible for hearts to change, and old hatreds to pass; that it’s possible for the sons and daughters of former colonies to sit here as members of this great Parliament, and for the grandson of a Kenyan who served as a cook in the British Army to stand before you as President of the United States.(this was a good line and a half)

That is what defines us. That is why the young men and women in the streets of Damascus and Cairo still reach for the rights our citizens enjoy, even if they’ve sometimes differed with our policies. As two of the most powerful nations in history, we must always remember that the true source of our influence hasn’t just been the size of our economy, the reach of our military, or the land that we’ve claimed. It has been the values that we must never waver in defending around the world — the idea that all human beings are endowed with certain rights that cannot be denied.

That is what forged our bond in the fire of war — a bond made manifest by the friendship between two of our greatest leaders. Churchill and Roosevelt had their differences. They were keen observers of each other’s blind spots and shortcomings, if not always their own, and they were hard-headed about their ability to remake the world.

But what joined the fates of these two men at that moment in history was not simply a shared interest in victory on the battlefield. It was a shared belief in the ultimate triumph of human freedom and human dignity — a conviction that we have a say in how this story ends.

This conviction lives on in their people today. The challenges we face are great. The work before us is hard. But we have come through a difficult decade, and whenever the tests and trials ahead seem too big or too many, let us turn to their example, and the words that Churchill spoke on the day that Europe was freed:

“In the long years to come, not only will the people of this island but of the world, wherever the bird of freedom chirps in human hearts, look back to what we’ve done, and they will say ‘do not despair, do not yield…march straightforward'”

With courage and purpose; with humility and hope; with faith in the promise of tomorrow, let us march straightforward together, enduring allies in the cause of a world that is more peaceful, prosperous, and just. Thank you.

Obama  Nullifies History- the 1967 6 Day War

By Arthur Owiti

In what was considered to be a landmark speech on the Middle East and North Africa , President Obama relived for the world , the so called Arab Spring /Arab Awakening  that has spread the wave of revolution and change in the Arab World. One must not forget that MIDDLE EAST FOREIGN POLICY IS WORLDWIDE FOREIGN POLICY. A bad Middle East Foreign Policy is HELL FOR THE WORLD.The splitting of Israel and Jerusalem is the road map to hell for the whole world .

The speech as usual had to mention the great principles of the Catholic Church forever using the world Universal which means Catholic . Shockingly America has declared that it is working for Religious Ecumenism the belief that all religions are one .The verbatim snippets are put out below. The words in bold are President Obama’s words followed by my comments which are not in bold

1. no one benefits from a nuclear arms race in the region, or al Qaeda’s brutal attacks –  This USA talking to Iran

2. the United States of America welcomes change that advances self-determination and opportunity— even if it means using force as will happen in Israel .

3. America must use all our influence to encourage reform in the region —- that will soon include military influence

4. America respects the right of all peaceful and law-abiding voices to be heard, even if we disagree with them.— I agree. This was an excellent point which should be kept to the letter if there any democracies left in the world because the last time I checked there were only Nazi monarchies.

5.America will work to see that this spirit prevails – that all faiths are respected, and that bridges are built among them—- This is Pope Benedict and the Jesuits signature in this speech..Antichrist Ecumenism, Antichrist Tolerance and not Jesus Christ Tolerance

6. a lasting peace will involve two states for two peoples— Well, what about America ..it has over 3 peoples , is it going to be subjected to division or is the Israeli issue an issue of Arabs not accepting to stay in one State  called Israel in harmony like Blacks and Hispanics stay in one USA

7.The borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states.–   this was the bombshell .America is in for A TWO STATE SOLUTION … it is going to be one hot summer before September.

In total , USA has just called for the division of Israel which the word of God has stated clearly that such an action will evoke the fury of Almighty God.

However every time you hear President Obama give a speech know that he is the mouth piece of ………Of the Papacy and the British Empire

Yes…the mouth piece gave the speech Of the Papacy and the British Empire

For End Time Bible scholars, you know that is the false prophet and the beast .These two imperial powers both are behind the splitting of Israel into two for Britain gave independence to Israel and the Vatican gave the Oslo Accords.

IRELAND’S PLASTIC PEACE —THE QUEEN’S VISIT SAID IT ALL

Remember President Obama is going to Ireland next week after the Queen visited Ireland to teach Israel how to make “peace ” like Ireland is making “peace with Britain -or is it really ?

The presence of young people protesting against the Queen and the tight security accorded for the Queen that she could not even have access to the people of Ireland freely to make the reconciliation more homely and real shows nothing but Plastic Peace. That is a good lesson for Israel , that history cannot be changed to change the future .

IRELAND IS STILL HURTING –A protestor is stopped by police in a street during a demonstration against the first-ever visit to Ireland of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, in Dublin, Tuesday May 17, 2011

The White House has released the text of President Obama’s Middle East speech, as prepared for delivery. Here’s the full text:

I want to thank Hillary Clinton, who has traveled so much these last six months that she is approaching a new landmark – one million frequent flyer miles. I count on Hillary every day, and I believe that she will go down as of the finest Secretaries of State in our nation’s history.

The State Department is a fitting venue to mark a new chapter in American diplomacy. For six months, we have witnessed an extraordinary change take place in the Middle East and North Africa. Square by square; town by town; country by country; the people have risen up to demand their basic human rights. Two leaders have stepped aside. More may follow. And though these countries may be a great distance from our shores, we know that our own future is bound to this region by the forces of economics and security; history and faith.

Today, I would like to talk about this change – the forces that are driving it, and how we can respond in a way that advances our values and strengthens our security. Already, we have done much to shift our foreign policy following a decade defined by two costly conflicts. After years of war in Iraq, we have removed 100,000 American troops and ended our combat mission there. In Afghanistan, we have broken the Taliban’s momentum, and this July we will begin to bring our troops home and continue transition to Afghan lead. And after years of war against al Qaeda and its affiliates, we have dealt al Qaeda a huge blow by killing its leader – Osama bin Laden.

Bin Laden was no martyr. He was a mass murderer who offered a message of hate – an insistence that Muslims had to take up arms against the West, and that violence against men, women and children was the only path to change. He rejected democracy and individual rights for Muslims in favor of violent extremism; his agenda focused on what he could destroy – not what he could build.

Bin Laden and his murderous vision won some adherents. But even before his death, al Qaeda was losing its struggle for relevance, as the overwhelming majority of people saw that the slaughter of innocents did not answer their cries for a better life. By the time we found bin Laden, al Qaeda’s agenda had come to be seen by the vast majority of the region as a dead end, and the people of the Middle East and North Africa had taken their future into their own hands.

That story of self-determination began six months ago in Tunisia. On December 17, a young vendor named Mohammed Bouazizi was devastated when a police officer confiscated his cart. This was not unique. It is the same kind of humiliation that takes place every day in many parts of the world – the relentless tyranny of governments that deny their citizens dignity. Only this time, something different happened. After local officials refused to hear his complaint, this young man who had never been particularly active in politics went to the headquarters of the provincial government, doused himself in fuel, and lit himself on fire.

Sometimes, in the course of history, the actions of ordinary citizens spark movements for change because they speak to a longing for freedom that has built up for years. In America, think of the defiance of those patriots in Boston who refused to pay taxes to a King, or the dignity of Rosa Parks as she sat courageously in her seat. So it was in Tunisia, as that vendor’s act of desperation tapped into the frustration felt throughout the country. Hundreds of protesters took to the streets, then thousands. And in the face of batons and sometimes bullets, they refused to go home – day after day, week after week, until a dictator of more than two decades finally left power.

The story of this Revolution, and the ones that followed, should not have come as a surprise. The nations of the Middle East and North Africa won their independence long ago, but in too many places their people did not. In too many countries, power has been concentrated in the hands of the few. In too many countries, a citizen like that young vendor had nowhere to turn – no honest judiciary to hear his case; no independent media to give him voice; no credible political party to represent his views; no free and fair election where he could choose his leader.

This lack of self determination – the chance to make of your life what you will – has applied to the region’s economy as well. Yes, some nations are blessed with wealth in oil and gas, and that has led to pockets of prosperity. But in a global economy based on knowledge and innovation, no development strategy can be based solely upon what comes out of the ground. Nor can people reach their potential when you cannot start a business without paying a bribe.

In the face of these challenges, too many leaders in the region tried to direct their people’s grievances elsewhere. The West was blamed as the source of all ills, a half century after the end of colonialism. Antagonism toward Israel became the only acceptable outlet for political expression. Divisions of tribe, ethnicity and religious sect were manipulated as a means of holding on to power, or taking it away from somebody else.

But the events of the past six months show us that strategies of repression and diversion won’t work anymore. Satellite television and the Internet provide a window into the wider world – a world of astonishing progress in places like India, Indonesia and Brazil. Cell phones and social networks allow young people to connect and organize like never before. A new generation has emerged. And their voices tell us that change cannot be denied.
In Cairo, we heard the voice of the young mother who said, “It’s like I can finally breathe fresh air for the first time.”

In Sanaa, we heard the students who chanted, “The night must come to an end.”

In Benghazi, we heard the engineer who said, “Our words are free now. It’s a feeling you can’t explain.”

In Damascus, we heard the young man who said, “After the first yelling, the first shout, you feel dignity.”

Those shouts of human dignity are being heard across the region. And through the moral force of non-violence, the people of the region have achieved more change in six months than terrorists have accomplished in decades.

Of course, change of this magnitude does not come easily. In our day and age – a time of 24 hour news cycles, and constant communication – people expect the transformation of the region to be resolved in a matter of weeks. But it will be years before this story reaches its end. Along the way, there will be good days, and bad days. In some places, change will be swift; in others, gradual. And as we have seen, calls for change may give way to fierce contests for power.

The question before us is what role America will play as this story unfolds. For decades, the United States has pursued a set of core interests in the region: countering terrorism and stopping the spread of nuclear weapons; securing the free flow of commerce, and safe-guarding the security of the region; standing up for Israel’s security and pursuing Arab-Israeli peace.

We will continue to do these things, with the firm belief that America’s interests are not hostile to peoples’ hopes; they are essential to them. We believe that no one benefits from a nuclear arms race in the region, or al Qaeda’s brutal attacks. People everywhere would see their economies crippled by a cut off in energy supplies. As we did in the Gulf War, we will not tolerate aggression across borders, and we will keep our commitments to friends and partners.

Yet we must acknowledge that a strategy based solely upon the narrow pursuit of these interests will not fill an empty stomach or allow someone to speak their mind. Moreover, failure to speak to the broader aspirations of ordinary people will only feed the suspicion that has festered for years that the United States pursues our own interests at their expense. Given that this mistrust runs both ways – as Americans have been seared by hostage taking, violent rhetoric, and terrorist attacks that have killed thousands of our citizens – a failure to change our approach threatens a deepening spiral of division between the United States and Muslim communities.

That’s why, two years ago in Cairo, I began to broaden our engagement based upon mutual interests and mutual respect. I believed then – and I believe now – that we have a stake not just in the stability of nations, but in the self determination of individuals. The status quo is not sustainable. Societies held together by fear and repression may offer the illusion of stability for a time, but they are built upon fault lines that will eventually tear asunder.

So we face an historic opportunity. We have embraced the chance to show that America values the dignity of the street vendor in Tunisia more than the raw power of the dictator. There must be no doubt that the United States of America welcomes change that advances self-determination and opportunity. Yes, there will be perils that accompany this moment of promise. But after decades of accepting the world as it is in the region, we have a chance to pursue the world as it should be.

As we do, we must proceed with a sense of humility. It is not America that put people into the streets of Tunis and Cairo – it was the people themselves who launched these movements, and must determine their outcome. Not every country will follow our particular form of representative democracy, and there will be times when our short term interests do not align perfectly with our long term vision of the region. But we can – and will – speak out for a set of core principles – principles that have guided our response to the events over the past six months:

The United States opposes the use of violence and repression against the people of the region.

We support a set of universal rights. Those rights include free speech; the freedom of peaceful assembly; freedom of religion; equality for men and women under the rule of law; and the right to choose your own leaders – whether you live in Baghdad or Damascus; Sanaa or Tehran.

And finally, we support political and economic reform in the Middle East and North Africa that can meet the legitimate aspirations of ordinary people throughout the region.

Our support for these principles is not a secondary interest- today I am making it clear that it is a top priority that must be translated into concrete actions, and supported by all of the diplomatic, economic and strategic tools at our disposal.

Let me be specific. First, it will be the policy of the United States to promote reform across the region, and to support transitions to democracy.

That effort begins in Egypt and Tunisia, where the stakes are high -as Tunisia was at the vanguard of this democratic wave, and Egypt is both a longstanding partner and the Arab World’s largest nation. Both nations can set a strong example through free and fair elections; a vibrant civil society; accountable and effective democratic institutions; and responsible regional leadership. But our support must also extend to nations where transitions have yet to take place.

Unfortunately, in too many countries, calls for change have been answered by violence. The most extreme example is Libya, where Moammar Gaddafi launched a war against his people, promising to hunt them down like rats. As I said when the United States joined an international coalition to intervene, we cannot prevent every injustice perpetrated by a regime against its people, and we have learned from our experience in Iraq just how costly and difficult it is to impose regime change by force – no matter how well-intended it may be.

But in Libya, we saw the prospect of imminent massacre, had a mandate for action, and heard the Libyan people’s call for help. Had we not acted along with our NATO allies and regional coalition partners, thousands would have been killed. The message would have been clear: keep power by killing as many people as it takes. Now, time is working against Gaddafi. He does not have control over his country. The opposition has organized a legitimate and credible Interim Council. And when Gaddafi inevitably leaves or is forced from power, decades of provocation will come to an end, and the transition to a democratic Libya can proceed.

While Libya has faced violence on the greatest scale, it is not the only place where leaders have turned to repression to remain in power. Most recently, the Syrian regime has chosen the path of murder and the mass arrests of its citizens. The United States has condemned these actions, and working with the international community we have stepped up our sanctions on the Syrian regime – including sanctions announced yesterday on President Assad and those around him.

The Syrian people have shown their courage in demanding a transition to democracy. President Assad now has a choice: he can lead that transition, or get out of the way. The Syrian government must stop shooting demonstrators and allow peaceful protests; release political prisoners and stop unjust arrests; allow human rights monitors to have access to cities like Dara’a; and start a serious dialogue to advance a democratic transition. Otherwise, President Assad and his regime will continue to be challenged from within and isolated abroad

Thus far, Syria has followed its Iranian ally, seeking assistance from Tehran in the tactics of suppression. This speaks to the hypocrisy of the Iranian regime, which says it stand for the rights of protesters abroad, yet suppresses its people at home. Let us remember that the first peaceful protests were in the streets of Tehran, where the government brutalized women and men, and threw innocent people into jail. We still hear the chants echo from the rooftops of Tehran. The image of a young woman dying in the streets is still seared in our memory. And we will continue to insist that the Iranian people deserve their universal rights, and a government that does not smother their aspirations.

Our opposition to Iran’s intolerance – as well as its illicit nuclear program, and its sponsorship of terror – is well known. But if America is to be credible, we must acknowledge that our friends in the region have not all reacted to the demands for change consistent with the principles that I have outlined today. That is true in Yemen, where President Saleh needs to follow through on his commitment to transfer power. And that is true, today, in Bahrain.

Bahrain is a long-standing partner, and we are committed to its security. We recognize that Iran has tried to take advantage of the turmoil there, and that the Bahraini government has a legitimate interest in the rule of law. Nevertheless, we have insisted publically and privately that mass arrests and brute force are at odds with the universal rights of Bahrain’s citizens, and will not make legitimate calls for reform go away. The only way forward is for the government and opposition to engage in a dialogue, and you can’t have a real dialogue when parts of the peaceful opposition are in jail. The government must create the conditions for dialogue, and the opposition must participate to forge a just future for all Bahrainis.

Indeed, one of the broader lessons to be drawn from this period is that sectarian divides need not lead to conflict. In Iraq, we see the promise of a multi-ethnic, multi-sectarian democracy. There, the Iraqi people have rejected the perils of political violence for a democratic process, even as they have taken full responsibility for their own security. Like all new democracies, they will face setbacks. But Iraq is poised to play a key role in the region if it continues its peaceful progress. As they do, we will be proud to stand with them as a steadfast partner.

So in the months ahead, America must use all our influence to encourage reform in the region. Even as we acknowledge that each country is different, we will need to speak honestly about the principles that we believe in, with friend and foe alike. Our message is simple: if you take the risks that reform entails, you will have the full support of the United States. We must also build on our efforts to broaden our engagement beyond elites, so that we reach the people who will shape the future – particularly young people.

We will continue to make good on the commitments that I made in Cairo – to build networks of entrepreneurs, and expand exchanges in education; to foster cooperation in science and technology, and combat disease. Across the region, we intend to provide assistance to civil society, including those that may not be officially sanctioned, and who speak uncomfortable truths. And we will use the technology to connect with – and listen to – the voices of the people.

In fact, real reform will not come at the ballot box alone. Through our efforts we must support those basic rights to speak your mind and access information. We will support open access to the Internet, and the right of journalists to be heard – whether it’s a big news organization or a blogger. In the 21st century, information is power; the truth cannot be hidden; and the legitimacy of governments will ultimately depend on active and informed citizens.

Such open discourse is important even if what is said does not square with our worldview. America respects the right of all peaceful and law-abiding voices to be heard, even if we disagree with them. We look forward to working with all who embrace genuine and inclusive democracy. What we will oppose is an attempt by any group to restrict the rights of others, and to hold power through coercion – not consent. Because democracy depends not only on elections, but also strong and accountable institutions, and respect for the rights of minorities.

Such tolerance is particularly important when it comes to religion. In Tahrir Square, we heard Egyptians from all walks of life chant, “Muslims, Christians, we are one.” America will work to see that this spirit prevails – that all faiths are respected, and that bridges are built among them. In a region that was the birthplace of three world religions, intolerance can lead only to suffering and stagnation. And for this season of change to succeed, Coptic Christians must have the right to worship freely in Cairo, just as Shia must never have their mosques destroyed in Bahrain.

What is true for religious minorities is also true when it comes to the rights of women. History shows that countries are more prosperous and peaceful when women are empowered. That is why we will continue to insist that universal rights apply to women as well as men – by focusing assistance on child and maternal health; by helping women to teach, or start a business; by standing up for the right of women to have their voices heard, and to run for office. For the region will never reach its potential when more than half its population is prevented from achieving their potential.

Even as we promote political reform and human rights in the region, our efforts cannot stop there. So the second way that we must support positive change in the region is through our efforts to advance economic development for nations that transition to democracy.

After all, politics alone has not put protesters into the streets. The tipping point for so many people is the more constant concern of putting food on the table and providing for a family. Too many in the region wake up with few expectations other than making it through the day, and perhaps the hope that their luck will change. Throughout the region, many young people have a solid education, but closed economies leave them unable to find a job. Entrepreneurs are brimming with ideas, but corruption leaves them unable to profit from them.

The greatest untapped resource in the Middle East and North Africa is the talent of its people. In the recent protests, we see that talent on display, as people harness technology to move the world. It’s no coincidence that one of the leaders of Tahrir Square was an executive for Google. That energy now needs to be channeled, in country after country, so that economic growth can solidify the accomplishments of the street. Just as democratic revolutions can be triggered by a lack of individual opportunity, successful democratic transitions depend upon an expansion of growth and broad-based prosperity.

Drawing from what we’ve learned around the world, we think it’s important to focus on trade, not just aid; and investment, not just assistance. The goal must be a model in which protectionism gives way to openness; the reigns of commerce pass from the few to the many, and the economy generates jobs for the young. America’s support for democracy will therefore be based on ensuring financial stability; promoting reform; and integrating competitive markets with each other and the global economy – starting with Tunisia and Egypt.

First, we have asked the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund to present a plan at next week’s G-8 summit for what needs to be done to stabilize and modernize the economies of Tunisia and Egypt. Together, we must help them recover from the disruption of their democratic upheaval, and support the governments that will be elected later this year. And we are urging other countries to help Egypt and Tunisia meet its near-term financial needs.

Second, we do not want a democratic Egypt to be saddled by the debts of its past. So we will relieve a democratic Egypt of up to $1 billion in debt, and work with our Egyptian partners to invest these resources to foster growth and entrepreneurship. We will help Egypt regain access to markets by guaranteeing $1 billion in borrowing that is needed to finance infrastructure and job creation. And we will help newly democratic governments recover assets that were stolen.

Third, we are working with Congress to create Enterprise Funds to invest in Tunisia and Egypt. These will be modeled on funds that supported the transitions in Eastern Europe after the fall of the Berlin Wall. OPIC will soon launch a $2 billion facility to support private investment across the region. And we will work with allies to refocus the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development so that it provides the same support for democratic transitions and economic modernization in the Middle East and North Africa as it has in Europe.

Fourth, the United States will launch a comprehensive Trade and Investment Partnership Initiative in the Middle East and North Africa. If you take out oil exports, this region of over 400 million people exports roughly the same amount as Switzerland. So we will work with the EU to facilitate more trade within the region, build on existing agreements to promote integration with U.S. and European markets, and open the door for those countries who adopt high standards of reform and trade liberalization to construct a regional trade arrangement. Just as EU membership served as an incentive for reform in Europe, so should the vision of a modern and prosperous economy create a powerful force for reform in the Middle East and North Africa.

Prosperity also requires tearing down walls that stand in the way of progress – the corruption of elites who steal from their people; the red tape that stops an idea from becoming a business; the patronage that distributes wealth based on tribe or sect. We will help governments meet international obligations, and invest efforts anti-corruption; by working with parliamentarians who are developing reforms, and activists who use technology to hold government accountable.

Let me conclude by talking about another cornerstone of our approach to the region, and that relates to the pursuit of peace.

For decades, the conflict between Israelis and Arabs has cast a shadow over the region. For Israelis, it has meant living with the fear that their children could get blown up on a bus or by rockets fired at their homes, as well as the pain of knowing that other children in the region are taught to hate them. For Palestinians, it has meant suffering the humiliation of occupation, and never living in a nation of their own. Moreover, this conflict has come with a larger cost the Middle East, as it impedes partnerships that could bring greater security, prosperity, and empowerment to ordinary people.

My Administration has worked with the parties and the international community for over two years to end this conflict, yet expectations have gone unmet. Israeli settlement activity continues. Palestinians have walked away from talks. The world looks at a conflict that has grinded on for decades, and sees a stalemate. Indeed, there are those who argue that with all the change and uncertainty in the region, it is simply not possible to move forward.

I disagree. At a time when the people of the Middle East and North Africa are casting off the burdens of the past, the drive for a lasting peace that ends the conflict and resolves all claims is more urgent than ever.

For the Palestinians, efforts to delegitimize Israel will end in failure. Symbolic actions to isolate Israel at the United Nations in September won’t create an independent state. Palestinian leaders will not achieve peace or prosperity if Hamas insists on a path of terror and rejection. And Palestinians will never realize their independence by denying the right of Israel to exist.

As for Israel, our friendship is rooted deeply in a shared history and shared values. Our commitment to Israel’s security is unshakeable. And we will stand against attempts to single it out for criticism in international forums. But precisely because of our friendship, it is important that we tell the truth: the status quo is unsustainable, and Israel too must act boldly to advance a lasting peace.

The fact is, a growing number of Palestinians live west of the Jordan River. Technology will make it harder for Israel to defend itself. A region undergoing profound change will lead to populism in which millions of people – not just a few leaders – must believe peace is possible. The international community is tired of an endless process that never produces an outcome. The dream of a Jewish and democratic state cannot be fulfilled with permanent occupation.

Ultimately, it is up to Israelis and Palestinians to take action. No peace can be imposed upon them, nor can endless delay make the problem go away. But what America and the international community can do is state frankly what everyone knows: a lasting peace will involve two states for two peoples. Israel as a Jewish state and the homeland for the Jewish people, and the state of Palestine as the homeland for the Palestinian people; each state enjoying self-determination, mutual recognition, and peace.

So while the core issues of the conflict must be negotiated, the basis of those negotiations is clear: a viable Palestine, and a secure Israel. The United States believes that negotiations should result in two states, with permanent Palestinian borders with Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, and permanent Israeli borders with Palestine. The borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states. The Palestinian people must have the right to govern themselves, and reach their potential, in a sovereign and contiguous state.

As for security, every state has the right to self-defense, and Israel must be able to defend itself – by itself – against any threat. Provisions must also be robust enough to prevent a resurgence of terrorism; to stop the infiltration of weapons; and to provide effective border security. The full and phased withdrawal of Israeli military forces should be coordinated with the assumption of Palestinian security responsibility in a sovereign, non-militarized state. The duration of this transition period must be agreed, and the effectiveness of security arrangements must be demonstrated.

These principles provide a foundation for negotiations. Palestinians should know the territorial outlines of their state; Israelis should know that their basic security concerns will be met. I know that these steps alone will not resolve this conflict. Two wrenching and emotional issues remain: the future of Jerusalem, and the fate of Palestinian refugees. But moving forward now on the basis of territory and security provides a foundation to resolve those two issues in a way that is just and fair, and that respects the rights and aspirations of Israelis and Palestinians.

Recognizing that negotiations need to begin with the issues of territory and security does not mean that it will be easy to come back to the table. In particular, the recent announcement of an agreement between Fatah and Hamas raises profound and legitimate questions for Israel – how can one negotiate with a party that has shown itself unwilling to recognize your right to exist. In the weeks and months to come, Palestinian leaders will have to provide a credible answer to that question. Meanwhile, the United States, our Quartet partners, and the Arab states will need to continue every effort to get beyond the current impasse.

I recognize how hard this will be. Suspicion and hostility has been passed on for generations, and at times it has hardened. But I’m convinced that the majority of Israelis and Palestinians would rather look to the future than be trapped in the past. We see that spirit in the Israeli father whose son was killed by Hamas, who helped start an organization that brought together Israelis and Palestinians who had lost loved ones. He said, “I gradually realized that the only hope for progress was to recognize the face of the conflict.” And we see it in the actions of a Palestinian who lost three daughters to Israeli shells in Gaza. “I have the right to feel angry,” he said. “So many people were expecting me to hate. My answer to them is I shall not hate…Let us hope,” he said, “for tomorrow”

That is the choice that must be made – not simply in this conflict, but across the entire region – a choice between hate and hope; between the shackles of the past, and the promise of the future. It’s a choice that must be made by leaders and by people, and it’s a choice that will define the future of a region that served as the cradle of civilization and a crucible of strife.

For all the challenges that lie ahead, we see many reasons to be hopeful. In Egypt, we see it in the efforts of young people who led protests. In Syria, we see it in the courage of those who brave bullets while chanting, ‘peaceful,’ ‘peaceful.’ In Benghazi, a city threatened with destruction, we see it in the courthouse square where people gather to celebrate the freedoms that they had never known. Across the region, those rights that we take for granted are being claimed with joy by those who are prying lose the grip of an iron fist.

For the American people, the scenes of upheaval in the region may be unsettling, but the forces driving it are not unfamiliar. Our own nation was founded through a rebellion against an empire. Our people fought a painful civil war that extended freedom and dignity to those who were enslaved. And I would not be standing here today unless past generations turned to the moral force of non-violence as a way to perfect our union – organizing, marching, and protesting peacefully together to make real those words that declared our nation: “We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal.”

Those words must guide our response to the change that is transforming the Middle East and North Africa – words which tell us that repression will fail, that tyrants will fall, and that every man and woman is endowed with certain inalienable rights. It will not be easy. There is no straight line to progress, and hardship always accompanies a season of hope. But the United States of America was founded on the belief that people should govern themselves. Now, we cannot hesitate to stand squarely on the side of those who are reaching for their rights, knowing that their success will bring about a world that is more peaceful, more stable, and more just.
