UPDATED …. BARCELONA IS CALLED CATALONIA AND GUESS WHO IS THE PATRON OF SAINT OF CATALONIA ? ST GEORGE THE PATRON SAINT OF ENGLAND
BARCELONA (HALF CAST ENGLISH TEAM ) BEATS MANCHESTER UNITED(NO. 2 ENGLISH TEAM) …THEY ARE UNITED BY THE CATHOLIC ENGLISH SAINT GEORGE’S CROSS
We have been studying how Crosses have been embedded in the flags of European Countries including America.Yet this influence is not just bound to nations but football clubs . This is done to tie the masses to the religion in the end.
Barcelona has defeated Manchester United (The Assistant English Team ) in the UEFA Champions League Final at Wembley England. This was seen as a Spanish -English duel but what many do not know is that Barcelona has English roots which are Catholic Roots.
A look at the flag of Barcelona and one sees the Red Cross of St George adorned therein. This happened because the founders of the club were Swiss , English and Spaniards .So to mark out the English , they put St George’s Cross.
SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT IN THE BIBLE
Sport is generally an interaction with another and it can mean to entertain,to show off skill and talent .This applies also to the word “to play”.
That is why the only Holy Bible in English, KJV Bible, uses the word play on harlots , warriors and musicians (playing instruments) and dancers and lovers .
That is why you find people running to pornography(watching the harlots play) or discography (music or dancing ) or Olympics or even courting by lovers as seen with Isaac and Rebecca—all these are different kinds of sports .
Genesis 26:8 And it came to pass, when he had been there a long time, that Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out at a window, and saw, and, behold, Isaac was sporting with Rebekah his wife.
However for war, it is not entertainment but serious sports that leads to death and acquisition of property. This is seen in the story of Abner and Joab in the book of 2 Samuel.
And Abner said to Joab, Let the young men now arise, and play before us. And Joab said, Let them arise. 2:14
And there was a very sore battle that day; and Abner was beaten, and the men of Israel, before the servants of David. 2:17
So because these activities require energy and skill , it seems they all acquired the same words of play and sports.
SPORTS REPLACED WAR TIME.
People either went to war had leisure time Basically men were to be on stand by to defend the kingdom even though there already existed a standing army of soldiers .Sports however was not war but had the same characteristics of war- discipline for the individual and unity for the team. The more a team has disciplined individuals , when they play in unity they will win.
Football is said to have been well coined in England . However at its inception, football was seen as a vice because it made men ignore practice for war in the King’s army .So some Kings banned football .However it became popular in schools until the 1800s when proper rules were set for the game.
Then came the clubs (another war term) and football clubs were set up to play against each other in a league (a biblical word for covenant or agreement , only found in the KJV Bible ).
These teams played under the agreed term that the best team wins the league . Clubs grew from nowhere and many clubs set up their mottos and symbols .Yet what is striking is how religion was engrossed in many of those clubs .
Thus the players were seen as knights or warriors of the team and therefore heading for war on the football pitch.
Just look at the symbols of some clubs in Portugal that are adorned with the false doctrine of Worshiping “Mother of God” Mary holding baby Jesus (Nimrod/Tammuz) .
So what ? Well this just shows how Religion is slowly embossed in the Life of Europe and juts because it seems Europe is gone to the dogs when it comes to religion , it still has its tentacles on it through sports and through culture.
The Catholic Crusades and the Holy Roman Empire are the roots of Europe and when you want to cut a tree to death you cut it by the roots .
Its these roots that define Europe and the symbols of football clubs do nothing but reinforce that definition of Catholic Europe and Quasi Catholic England.
